What is SARBSARB is a program aimed at changing behaviors. The intent is to improve a student’s attendance through interventions and specific consequences

Goals for ProgramOur goal is to reduce habitual and/or chronic truancy and increase student attendance at all of our schools

SARB TeamThe SARB team consists of attendance clerks, Assistant Principals, Principals, District personnel, law enforcement and our community

ResponsibilitiesEach Member of the SARB team has specific duties and responsibilities to fullfill

RequirementsThe SARB process is part of the Ed Code. We have specific requirements we must follow to ensure due process

ProcessWe have developed a simplified process to ensure that we support our students and follow the Ed Code.

Program Goals

SARB is not effectively utilized by most School

Make sure you follow the checklist! Include the Application (Green Form), Referral form, and a copy of the D.A. invitation to meeting.

Include all student info: Student front screen (Aeries), attendance record, current emergency contacts, copy of student transcript, copy of student IEP (if SPED), copy of Assertive Discipline Record (Aeries)

Complete and include SARB Intervention Form from google docs. Include a copy of the attendance/behavior contracts, SARB contract and a copy of your admin statement or narrative

The packet should include all correspondence to/from parent(s) and student(s) regarding attendance, a copy of Letter 1,2 & 3 as well as parent contact info (copy of California Drivers License) if you can get it.
