Step1. Create a YBI package in R3 Dev in Tcode SE80.Take the help of Basis or ABAPer in order to select the right transport layer.Create a Request for this Package.

Step2.Transfer Application Component Hierarchy from T code RSA9.Enter T Code RSA9 in R3 Dev and then press yes as shown below,

Once Application Component hierarchy is transferred u can see Deliver Version ‘M’Data sources in T code RSA5.

Step3. As per the industry one has to select the application components in RSA5 and then activate all related data sources as shown below,

Click on Activate Data Sources,You have to create a new request so that all active data sources are under this new request.This activity will take few minutes.

Some Logs will appear, but you can continue,

Step 6. Now check in T code RSA6 that all the activated data sources has been arrived.

Note that even though u can see application components below SAP-R3 ,But data sources are not present,

Step7. BF11 Setting in R3 Dev,

Enter T Code BF11,

No data sources here.

U will get below message ,

Then Continue,Check the check box for BIW as shown below ,

Then Save, and create a new request,

Then u can see all ur new created requests in SE10 as below,

While transporting , one should always transport first the request related to BI Package YBI , in this case, MEDK902613 IBMBI1 BI : Package for BI : YBI

Then BF11 request or RSA5 Related request should be transported to R3 Quality and R3 Production.

Step8. Activating LO Cockpit : Maintaining Extract Structure , Generation Data Sources and Activating Update.

T Code LBWE.

Here one by one as per application component you have to Maintain Extract Structure, Generate Data Source and Activate Update,U need to create Separate Customizing and Workbench Requests here.

Maintenance of Extract Structure is under Workbench Request,While Generating data source and Activating Update is under Customizing Request.

Some of the data source will not allow u to maintain Extract Structure For example : 2LIS_11_V_SSL. In such case only Generate Data Source and Activate Update under customizing request.

The Workbench Request in SE10 will be look like as below,

Step 9. Creating a Project for writing User Exits in case of Data Source Enhancement.

T code CMOD.

Click on Create Tab.

Write Proper Description and Save. Create a new request.

Then click on Enhancement Assignments.Enter RSAP0001 and save.

Then Click on Components Tab.Double click on EXIT_SAPLRSAP_001.

Note that,EXIT_SAPLRSAP_001 is for Transaction Data Source Enhancement.EXIT_SAPLRSAP_002 is for Master Data Attribute Data Source Enhancement.EXIT_SAPLRSAP_003 is for Master Data Text Data Source Enhancement.EXIT_SAPLRSAP_004 is for Master Data Hierarchy Data Source Enhancement.

In the next screen Double click on INCLUDE ZXRSAU01.

Above message will appear. Then Click on Enter.

Then Click on YES.

You need an Access Key at this stage in order to proceed.. Get it from basis.

Save it under same request created for Project ZBI.Then ABAP Editor screen Will open . Activate it.

Repeat the same process for EXIT_SAPLRSAP_002 and 003 and 004.
