P&P Romania is looking to fill in an Agribusiness Sales Manager position for Agribusiness division, located in Bucharest, for its client - a regional company with a strong entrepreneurial culture, acting in chemicals and raw materials, developing a new business division focused on pesticides and fertilizers, located in Bucharest. The Sales Manager, reporting to General Manager, has the main role to develop the agribusiness division in terms of clients and suppliers portfolios, to grow it and position it in the market as a strong competitor, paying attention to profit levels expected by shareholders. The position is office -based in Bucharest, involves travelling across the country for business development purposes, outside the country for Group meetings and suppliers visits, and is responsible for producing volume and generating the targeted volumes and turnover in the country, increasing pesticides and fertilizers penetration. We look for a senior business development leader to grow and drive our clients Agriculture Industry practice. Operating as part of the leadership team in the local Business Group, the chosen candidate will help grow our clients revenue by developing the KA (farmers) and mainly the reseller network while attracting more important brands in the product portfolio. The new Sales Manager will have the opportunity to define our clients solution strategy, marketing approach and partner model to define the overall go-to-market initiatives in the agriculture sector and related ecosystem. Successful candidates will have a proven track of achieving team sales targets within agribusiness sector, more specifically pesticides and fertilizers in order to assure a day one full effectiveness by knowing the market, players, competition and trends. Due to its group and regional exposure English fluency is mandatory for this position.
