    Mr. Tariq Sayeed SaigolMr. Tariq Sayeed Saigol is the chairman of Kohinoor Maple Leaf Group.

    He is a member of the reputed Saigol Family who pioneered in Textilemanufacturing after partition and later ventured into the financial

    sector, chemicals, synthetic fibres, sugar, edible oil refining, civil

    engineering, construction, cement and energy.

    Mr. Saigol was schooled at Aitchison College, Lahore and graduatedfrom Government College, Lahore following which, he studied Law at

    University Law College, Lahore.

    He started his career in 1968 at Kohinoors Chemical Complex at Kala

    Shah Kaku. Upon trifurcation of the Group in 1976, he became ChiefExecutive of Kohinoor Textile Mills Limited, Rawalpindi. Since 1984, he

    has been Chairman of Kohinoor Maple Leaf Group which has interests

    in textiles, energy and cement manufacturing.

    He has been Chairman All Pakistan Textile Mills Association in 1992-94, President of Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry for 1995-

    97 and Chairman, All Pakistan Cement Manufacturers Association from2003-2006.

    Mr. Saigol has been a member of the Federal Export Promotion Boardand Central Board of State Bank of Pakistan. He has also served on

    several Government Commissions and Committees on a number ofsubjects, including Export Promotion, reorganization of WAPDA and

    EPB, Right Sizing of State owned Corporations and ResourceMobilization. He is the author of Textile Vision 2005 which was adoptedby the Government in 2000 and its critique prepared in 2006.

    He takes keen interest in the development of education in Pakistan. He

    has been a member of the Board of Governors of Lahore University of

    Management Sciences, Founding Chairman of Governors of ChandbaghSchool, founder Trustee of Textile University of Pakistan, member of

    the Syndicate of University of Health Sciences and presently serves onthe Board of Governors of Aitchison College. He is conferred with

    Sitara-e-Isaar by President of Pakistan in 2006.

    Presently Mr.Tariq Saigol is a Board member of the State Bank of

    Pakistan. He is also a member of the Economic Advisory Council,constituted by the Prime Minister, to provide independent advice to

    him on the formulation and implementation of economic policies andreform agenda.

    He is a keen golfer and has represented Pakistan at Golf in Sri Lankaand Pakistan in 1967.

    Mr. Saigol is married and has 3 children.

    Mr. Taufique Sayeed SaigolHe is Chief Executive of Kohinoor Textile Mills Limited and director in

    all KMLG Group companies. Mr. Taufique Sayeed Saigol is a leadingand experienced industrialist of Pakistan; He is 56 years of age and

    graduated as an Industrial Engineer from Cornell University, USA in

    1974. He is widely traveled and his special forte is in the exportbusiness. He is a business man of impeccable credibility and vision and

    has substantial experience of working in different environments.

    Sayeed Saigol

    Sayeed Saigol is the Chief Executive of Maple Leaf Cement. Hegraduated from McGill University with a degree in management.

    Sayeed Saigol also has several years of work experience in the textileindustry. Prior to joining Maple Leaf Cement he was involved in setting

    up and managing an apparel dyeing company. He is a member of theboard of governors of the Lahore University of Management Sciences

    (LUMS).

    Waleed Saigol

    Waleed Saigol is the Managing Director of Kohinoor Raiwind Mills. Heholds a bachelors degree in economics from the London School of

    Economics & political science. Apart from his responsibilities in textiles,Waleed Saigol is also involved in identifying and developing new areasof business for KMLG. Waleed is a keen golfer and has won several

    tournaments in Pakistan.

    Jahanara Saigol

    Jahanara Saigol is the Director for Corporate Strategy. She is agraduate of Oxford University with a masters degree in History of Art

    and Visual Culture. Jahanara has work experience in the textileindustry and has been the Director of Marketing and product

    development for an apparel dyeing company. She speaks Urdu,English and French fluently.

    Kamil Taufique SaigolMr. Kamil Taufique Saigol, aged 24, is the elder son of Mr. Taufique

    Sayeed Saigol, CEO KTML. Mr. Kamil began his career with KMLG inNovember 2008 as Director. He holds a Bachelors Degree in

    Accounting from Concordia University in Montreal. He has been

    intensively involved in the development of the Textile business atKTML Rawalpindi.

    Zamiruddin Azar

    Zamiruddin Azar has been actively involved in various corporate

    activities of the Kohinoor Maple Leaf group. As a non-executivedirector, he heads the Internal Audit Committees of the group

    companies. With 35 years of experience at Glaxo Pakistan, Mr Azarprovides invaluable insight into project management, human resource

    development and administration.
