Leedem offers two models of shaft sinking winders (stage wind-ers) - SW and 2SW for single drum and double drum shaft sink-ing winders. They are made for hanging and moving galloways, cactus grabs, concrete forms, pumps, water and air pipes, vent tubing during shaft sinking process or other heavy-duty lifting applications above ground. They are widely used in coal mines, metal and non-metal mines. Both models have maximum load capacity of 5, 10, 16, 25, and 40 tons available.

Leedem’s shaft sinking winders meet stringent technical requirements and national standards of many major min-ing countries. Here are a few samples:• The brake system is dependable and accurate. The

safety brake on the drum and the working brake on the motor-gear coupler each has a minimum brake torque no less than 3 times of the maximum working torque generated by the maximum load.

• Main shaft material yielding strength is no less than 370MPa, the final tensile strength is no less than630MPa. The material is 45# steel, equivalent to ASTM-A29/A29-04 1045 steel. All forged and heat treated. All main shafts of winders must go through ul-trasound NDT.

• Winders work at –25 ~ 400C. With proper gear oil, the range can extent to –40 ~ 500C.

• All exposed rotating parts are covered protective shields.

• Smooth operations, with no cyclic noises. The total noise level is lower than 85dB(A).

• All winders are tested under strict standard and come withqualitycertification.

• Working brake and safety brake are tested by hoisting the rated load at test tower.
