Under intense conditions at sea, safety is not to be compromised. Should the unwant-ed event of a fire arise, a fire pump can be the difference between life and death. Water fire pumps are considered primary components in the fire protection systems on board all ships a ring of high-pressure water supplied by a fire pump, forms the fire protection.

Our Fire Water Pump solutions are divided into three different types
The fire water pumps are normally fitted with two pumps: a main pump and a feeding pump. The main pump is driven by a diesel engine or an electrical motor and the feeding pump is driven hydraulically.
The fire water pumps may be fitted in a con-tainer, with main- and feeding pump, or vertical
turbine pump. With this compact and simple solution, logistics and installation are fast and easy, cutting down man-hours.
IRON Pump service technicians carry out instal-lation and commissioning and offer support before, during and after start-up.

The principle of an Ejector
Ejector Applications
An ejector is a piece of precision engineering without any moving parts. The power of the ejector is in its detail and design. When dimensioning an ejector, certain parameters are taken into account including: pipe sizing, the amount of liquid to be transported and capacity of the driving pump among others.
By taking into account these parameters we are able to determine the most effective and best suitable ejector for your application. A well dimensioned ejector has a big influence on the piping system, including the driving pump and thereby its power consumption.

Ejectors for the marine industry
The Ellehammer Slimpower ejector series covers our most popular A-type in-line ejector sizes and sets high standards as to the amount of liquid it is possible to transport by means of an ejector. The Slimpower ejector has contributed to savings in relation to the size and capacity of the supply pump as well as to the environmental savings in production facilities and in transport. The ejector is supplied with flanges complying to both DIN, JIS and ANSI standards, thereby offering great flexibility.

Even though ejectors are very sturdy, and wear & tear is at a very minimum, replacing parts may sometimes be necessary. All our ejectors are equipped with a unique serial number used to identify and trace each individual ejec-tor. This way we ensure that the correct spare part is supplied in case part replacement is needed.
