Exceptional Detection of Foreign BodiesThe InspireX R40LF-800 x-ray system simultaneously detects and rejects unwanted foreign bodies such as ferrous, non-ferrous and stainless-steel, as well as glass, metal, stone, bone and high-density plastics and rubber compounds, within formed-style products.
Uniquely Flexible SolutionSpecifically designed to inspect discrete, formed-style products even when they are positioned randomly across a conveyor line with up to 6 lanes.
InspireX R40LF-800Safety for Loose Formed-style Products
Minimum Product WasteProducts containing foreign bodies are quickly and effectively eliminated through a multi-nozzle air blast reject system, minimising waste and improving productivity.
Maximum Sensitivity of DetectionThe InspireX R40LF-800 is up to four times more sensitive than traditional detection methods and loose flow, formed-style products are typically inspected at low product depth, ensuring outstanding sensitivity of inspection.
The InspireX R40LF-800 x-ray system is uniquely designed for the inspection of loose flow, formed-style products. By ensuring products are foreign body and defect free, it provides the tools to assist with industry standard compliance such as HACCP.

Uniquely Designed X-ray System
Software Capability• Sophisticated yet simple to use, giving
full operator control without the need for advanced training
• Software is specially designed to handle product flow variations, recognising regular-shaped product at any position on the belt
Connectivity• Full OPC capabilities• Data capture extracting allows for full
transparency of reject information
Design / Flexibility• Inspects discrete, regular-shaped products
such as burger patties or chicken nuggets• Runs on lines up to 800mm wide• Performs additional inline quality checks
for mass measurement and product defects such as holes, excess product, shape and edge defects
• Designed to operate at low energy, helping to reduce the cost of ownership
• Inherently safe and reliable, the system ensures compliance with local regulations
• An optional, specially-designed optical scanner (laser) detects ‘excess product’ and product height variation
• An option for use immediately after a freezer tunnel via a spacing conveyor is available, minimising line space
Design / Hygiene• Class-leading hygienic design follows
GMP, NSF and EHEDG principles and ensures compliance with FDA regulations and EU Directives
• IP69K (NEMA PW12) as standard for harsh wash down environments
• Easy access to all machine areas, ensures minimum downtime and protection against pathogenic micro-organism growth
Audits / Verification• Full statistics traceability for quality
reporting• Performance verification built in to ensure
constant optimum performance• All reports/images downloadable to USB
or via network, helps with paperless record keeping
• Dual reject systems - one for contaminated product and one for defective product
In addition to offering outstanding foreign body detection, the InspireX R40LF-800 x-ray system provides many other valuable benefits and features.

The InspireX R40LF-800 is designed and constructed with sanitary principles in mind and features an open frame design, angled surfaces, drainage slots in catch trays and easy strip down belts and components, which ensure easy and thorough cleaning and help food processors with HACCP compliance.
Integration into the Production Line
Installing the InspireX R40LF-800 x-ray system at a critical control point in the production line ensures contaminated and defective products are removed before further value is added. Costs are also saved and waste minimised as defective product can be reworked.
Designed with Hygiene in Mind
The importance of achieving and maintaining high hygiene standards is ever increasing with the public more aware of the risks associated with bacterial outbreaks and the consequential potential damage to brands.

Fully stainless steel, self-cooling IP69K reject drive motors and interlocks ensure the InspireX R40LF-800 x-ray system is suitable for very harsh environments
The above image shows the InspireX R40LF-800 positioned directly after the spiral freezer. On the out feed of the x-ray system, a special adjustable length wire mesh conveyor allows different-sized defective patties to be accurately rejected. With good patties entering a final packaging stage, the InspireX R40LF-800 provides a complete end-of-line solution.
Tool-less belt removal allows quick and easy wash down and maintenance

Specifications
A fully-integrated, multi-air nozzle reject system rejects contaminated and defective products; minimising product waste, saving costs and improving productivity.
Mounted at an angle aiming towards product flow, air nozzles blow contaminated and defective products off the line into a receptacle.
By removing contaminated and defective products into separate reject bins, the InspireX R40LF-800’s dual reject systems enable defective product to be reworked as required.
