A Resolution to Discontinue the Use of Armed Military Drones
WHEREAS, The use of drone strikes by the United States against suspected insurgents
damages international perceptions of the US and often result in civilian
casualties; and
WHEREAS, The details of clandestine military operations involving drones are not disclosed
to the public and endanger constitutional liberties; and
WHEREAS, Drone strikes have resulted in the deaths of hundreds of innocent civilian
bystanders through collateral damage or deliberate targeting, such as the
Damadola and Datta Khel strikes that killed at least 56 civilians, and bombing
rescuers or funeral attendees; thus, inflaming anger against the United States
and prompting international disapproval; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Congress here assembled that we cease all governmental funding toward
the research, acquisition, and upkeep of armed drones by the CIA and
Department of Defense while prohibiting the use of drone strikes as military
policy.
A Resolution to Tax Foreign Income from Other Countries Made by Individuals Living in the United States
WHEREAS, Many individuals who live in the United States and work for corporations based
in other countries declare no income and pay no taxes; and
WHEREAS, They have an income much larger than many Americans; and
WHEREAS, These individuals take part in many of the amenities available to them and their
children such as education, health care, and public properties; and
WHEREAS, They use these services for free, even though they could easily pay an equivalent
tax, which is harming the communities in which they use these services by
placing an unfair burden on tax payers; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Congress here assembled make the following recommendation for
solution that individuals with international income who are using public
education and health care be assessed taxes based on their international income
for the usage of these amenities; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That any foreigner caught abusing the system have their visa revoked
immediately.
A Bill to Increase the Federal Minimum Wage
BE IT ENACTED BY THE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:
Section 1. The Federal minimum wage shall be raised from $7.25 per hour to $8.00 per
hour.
Section 2. All employers in the United States who are not otherwise exempt must pay
employees at least the Federal minimum wage and overtime pay of one-and-
one-half-times the regular rate of pay as provided by the Fair Labor Standards
Act (FLSA).
Section 3. In the case where an employee is subject to both the state and Federal minimum
wage laws, the employee is entitled to the higher of the two minimum wages.
SECTION 4. This law shall be enforced by the Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division.
Section 5. This law shall come into effect at the beginning of the 2016 fiscal year. All laws in
conflict with this bill are hereby declared null and void.
A Bill to Limit Tobacco Farms in the United States
BE IT ENACTED BY THE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:
Section 1. Tobacco Farms in the United States are limited.
Section 2. Tobacco farms are any farms that grow tobacco for commercial purposes.
Limited is defined as allowing the farmer to obtain a living wage until the product
grown can be changed or the farmer can find a new job.
Section 3. The Department of Agriculture will oversee implementation this bill.
SECTION 4. This bill will take effect four months after it is voted into law in order to give
tobacco farmers time to repurpose the land.
Section 5. All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.
A Bill to Expand the NSA’s Power on Foreign Surveillance
BE IT ENACTED BY THE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:
Section 1. Any foreign communications would be subject to NSA surveillance.
Section 2. Any and all communications will be subject to NSA surveillance.
A. Any traffic flowing in and out of the United States will be openly monitored,
including previously “privileged” diplomatic discussions.
B. Communications such as; e-mail, calls, IM, etc. will be monitored.
C. NSA will overrule the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights
(ICCPR), as this agreement is the only thing currently restricting the NSA from
unbridled surveillance of both allies and enemies.
Section 3. Surveillance done by the NSA will combat and stop global terrorism.
A. Terrorism being a global issue, the NSA is the only one to access this
problem.
B. The US Intelligence Budget will prioritize funding to the NSA.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon passage and shall be implemented immediately.
Section 5. All laws in conflict with this legislation are here by declared null and void.
A Bill to Stop Deportations of Illegal Immigrants with Dependents from the United States
BE IT ENACTED BY THE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:
Section 1. The United States stop the deportation from the United States of illegal
immigrants who have dependents residing in the United States. The United
States can only deport illegal immigrants with dependents if those immigrants
are felons.
Section 2. Dependent children are defined as children that are under the age of 19 (or
under age of 24 if a full-time student), did not support more than one half of
his/her support in the past fiscal year, have the same residence as the parent,
and is the parent’s child, stepchild, foster child, or a descendent of one of these.
Section 3. This bill will be enforced through the United States Department of Human
Services. Penalties for violating this legislation will be determined by
congressional committees at a future time.
SECTION 4. This legislation will take place immediately upon the passage of this bill.
Section 5. All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.
A Resolution to Cease Taxing the Income of United States Citizens under the Age of 18 Years Old
WHEREAS, United States citizens under the age of 18 are unable to vote according to
the 26th Amendment to the Constitution as ratified in 1971; and
WHEREAS, Citizens under 18 years of age pay nearly 13% of their income to Social
Security, Medicare, Federal Income, and State Income taxes which cannot
be reclaimed; and
WHEREAS, These citizens cannot vote for local, State or Federal government officials
to represent them; and
WHEREAS, The United States of America was founded partially upon the ideal of
no taxation without proper consent and representation as stated in the
Declaration of Independence; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Congress here assembled that United States Citizens under the
age of 18 years old with proof of birth and residency are exempt from all
taxes on their income including Social Security, Medicare, Federal
Income, and State Income taxes.
A Resolution to Require Women to Register for Selective Service
WHEREAS, The role of women in combat was expanded in 2013 by the Department of
Defense; and
WHEREAS, Laws regarding conscription require something of men and not of women solely
based on gender; and
WHEREAS, Women and men are considered to be equals in every other aspect of our legal s
system; be it
RESOLVED, By the Congress here assembled that women shall register for Selective Service
and be considered eligible to be drafted into the armed forces from the
age of eighteen to twenty five.
