ACADEMIC PROGRAMMING

By integrating across subjects, students understand subjects as an integrated whole and how events interact with the arts, culture, philosophy, and religion of the time and how that fits into the Christian worldview

All knowledge is an interrelated

whole (not fragmented)

• Parents are always encouraged to communicate directly with teachers about classroom issues.

Administrative issues are better addressed to the Coordinators or Lower/Upper School Heads.

• Use of Renweb as a communication tool to keep parents updated on Academics

• Parent Education Meetings to explain classical education

• A Communication Survey to determine the best means of communicating with parents and students

As we partner with our parents in education, we seek to keep the lines of communication open.

success and failure in academics, co-curricular competition, and

leadership positions;

• An academically rigorous program that prepares students for college

admission and success in life.

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

The Board of Trustees is committed to making the Covenant

education accessible to as many families as possible.

We will continue to offer a generous needs-based financial aid

program in order to accomplish this goal.

Page 17: S CHOOL...and distinction as Covenant seeks to teach students to know truth, goodness and beauty. AGENDA ... We continue to build a strong and robust student culture that reflects

Last year, Covenant partnered with Smart Tuition Management to more effectively streamline the

tuition management process.

• Enrolling through ParentWeb generated a Smart Tuition Profile.

• Beginning this year, we have a Continuous Enrollment system, whereby students are automatically

reenrolled unless parents elect to withdraw by February 28.

• The Commitment Fee that is due in March serves two main purposes:

• Secures a child’s place in a class

• Allows the school to make curriculum and personnel decisions

• There are no tuition refunds in the event a child withdraws before the end of the academic year.

• Smart Tuition accepts credit cards for tuition payments but service fees apply.

• For questions regarding Smart Tuition, you may go to www.smarttuition.com.

GOALS FOR THE CAMPAIGN

seven years in order to accommodate our optimal enrollment of 630 students.

ENROLLMENT• Projected continued linear growth

• 12% growth over next 5 years

TUITION• Estimated 4-6% average annual tuition increase

• Covenant will continue to support all operational expenses

solely through tuition and tuition-related income

CAPITAL CAMPAIGN • Goal of an additional $3-4 MM

CAPITAL CAMPAIGN

FUNDS RAISED AND USES OF CASH

• Since June 2014, we have raised over $2.4 MM in cash donations, and

additional commitments of approximately $4.1 MM in additional

pledges of cash and gifts-in-kind.

• Construction of the new Student Life Center requires significant upfront,

“intangible costs” prior to breaking ground and commencing construction.

These costs include architectural fees, civil engineering services, permitting,

and project management fees.

• As the project progresses, the intangible costs quickly become a small

percentage of the overall budget.
