PURPOSE Assessment of Outstanding Account Receivables for Medicare Patients Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Laboratory Outreach Services Kristi Kenny Karen Shepherd, Director Douglas Katz, Field Service Coordinator To review and research outstanding Medicare Patient accounts and work towards increasing Laboratory Outreach account reimbursements through the process of LEAN practices. Problem Statement: Absence of paid Medicare bills for services dated between January 16, 2015 and August 1, 2015, result in an outstanding sum of $169,930.85 in Account Receivables.
