Install Foradian's Rupee Font in Linux

For Fedora

1.Download the file named Rupee Foradian.ttf from the the Foradian Technology blog “http://blog.foradian.com/rupee-font-version-20”

2.Just copy the ttf file to the .font directory under the user home directory .

3.Run the command " fc-cache" and use the font through all the applications.

For Debian

1.Download the file named Rupee Foradian.ttf from the the Foradian Technology blog “http://blog.foradian.com/rupee-font-version-20 ”

2.In your Debian machine login as root or use su and give following command :

mkdir /usr/share/fonts/ttfcp Rupee_Foradian.ttf /usr/share/fonts/ttfapt-get install ttmkfdircd /usr/share/fonts/ttfttmkfdir > fonts.scalemkfontdircd /usr/share/fonts/ttf/chmod 644 /usr/share/fonts/ttf/Rupee_Foradian.ttf

For Ubuntu 1.1.Download the file named Rupee Foradian.ttf from the the Foradian Technology blog “http://blog.foradian.com/rupee-font-version-20 ”2.Just open the font and click 'Install font' button on bottom left of the font viewer.
