RTACC provides your organisation with the very highest level of lifesaving intervention in just three days.

It provides additional skills to those taught in our

two-day Basic Trauma and Casualty Care (BTACC)

course and follows the M.A.R.C.H approach; a very

simple and systematic way of dealing with a wide

range life threatening, time critical injuries.

RTACC has become the course of choice for fire and

rescue services, police forces (D13 & D13E) and industries

who operate in high risk, remote or hostile environments,

not just in the UK but across the world.

Whilst BTACC is suitable for low to medium risk

organisations, RTACC provides an additional level of

knowledge, skills and equipment, enhancing their

ability to preserve life.

RTACC follows the M.A.R.C.H algorithm, guiding the

learner to firstly identify time critical injuries and then

signpost them to the appropriate intervention. With a

focus on the hands-on elements of trauma care together

with incredible casualty simulation, RTACC is not over

reliant on lectures and is the perfect balance of theoretical

and practical learning.

RTACC has been written by leading pre-hospital doctors

and has become recognised internationally. The aim of

RTACC is to ensure all organisations are equipped with the

skills and knowledge to think, act and do with maximum

confidence when someone is injured in the workplace.

RTACC – Overview

Legally and morally, any organisation who identify themselves as high risk, must have the capacity to deal with life threatening injury or illness sustained as a result of their working practices.

Additionally, emergency service personnel and industrial

rescue teams should have the right skills and equipment

available when it is required and be able to deliver trauma

care with the maximum confidence.

RTACC is our highest level prehospital course available

for non-clinicians and can be specifically tailored to your

needs, taking into account the nature of your business,

your work activity and subsequent risk profile. Our

blended learning ensures that the scenario-based course

is wholly relevant to what you actually do. If you work in a

high risk or remote environment, RTACC can be delivered

with this in mind, ensuring your personnel are trained

to a high standard in an environment they are likely to

find themselves in.

RTACC is a mannequin free zone (except for CPR training!)

as we use live actors as casualties. They bleed, scream,

roll around and in some cases fight back; just as an injured

person would. We recreate real injuries using incredible

levels of simulation. You do not have to imagine a wound;

you will see it, feel it and deal with it.

Being in a high risk, remote or hostile environment and

having to deliver excellent patient care is something that

should be well trained for.

RTACC ensures candidates have the skills, knowledge and confidence to identify and deal with life threatening, time critical injuries and we do this using the M.A.R.C.H Algorithm.
