    TENSION11 sts and 12 rows to 10 cm measured over dc patt using 6.00mm (no 4) (US J10) crochet hook.

    FINISHED SIZECompleted basket measures 17 cm in diameter and 5 cm in depth (not inc handle).Motif A measures 5 cm in diameter, motif B measures 5 cm in diameter.

    BasketUsing 6.00mm (no 4) (US J10) crochet hook and yarn A, make 4ch and join with a ss to form a ring.Round 1: 2 ch (counts at 1 htr), 11 htr into ring, ss to top of 2 ch. 12 htr.Round 2: 2 ch (counts as 1 htr), 1 htr into same space as last ss, 1 htr into next htr, (2htr into next htr, 1 htr into next htr) 5 times, ss to top of 2 ch. 18 htr.Round 3: 2 ch (counts as 1 htr), 1 htr into same space as last ss, 1 htr into next htr, (2 htr into next htr, 1 htr into next htr) 8 times, ss to top of 2 ch. 27 htr.Round 4: 2 ch (counts as 1 htr), (2htr into next 2 htr, 1 htr

Fasten off.

    Flower Motif B (make 1)Using 4.00mm (no 8) (US G6) crochet hook and yarn D, make 4 ch and join with a ss to form a ring.Round 1: *3 ch, 1 dtr, 3ch, ss to ring; rep from * 4 times more.Fasten off.

  • Leaves (make 2)Using 4.00mm (no 8) (US G6) crochet hook and yarn C, make 40 ch, turn.Next row: 1 dc into 2nd ch from hook, *2 dc into next ch, 1 dc into next ch, rep from * to end.Fasten off.

    MAKING UPUsing photograph as a guide sew motif B to motif A and attach button to centre of motif B.Sew leaves to reverse of motif A and attach to base of handle.Sew in any loose ends.
