B a r r y R a m a g e m a d e a p r e s e n t a t i o n t o t h e c l u b regarding Red Hook Library’s building project. The Library is renovating the third floor of their building to be a multi-purpose meeting room. The main use of this new space will be for adult programming that the Library sponsors. The Library is looking for donations to complete the capital campaign. There was a discussion at the club board of directors meeting on Monday that some kind of matching program with our members and our

foundation could be arranged. Members of our foundation board met after the club meeting and decided to match donations from club members dollar for dollar. Our Red Hook Rotary Foundation will donate to an acceptable library program the same amount as club members donate to the building project. The Foundation donation will be divided equally between the Red Hook Public Library and Tivoli Library for programming. Club members wishing to donate to the Library building project should bring their check to our club meeting over the next two weeks. Checks should be made payable to: Red Hook Public Library Capital Campaign.

The District 7210 conference is quickly approaching. Club members are encouraged to attend since it will be just across the river in Kingston.

Club / Vocational Service Committee: Members are encouraged to attend our pizza party next Tuesday and bring a guest or two or three. This is a great opportunity to introduce potential members to Rotary. Applications for RYLA and our scholarships are now available in the high school guidance office. They are due April 11, 2016.

By consensus of club members present, it was decided to continue in the Youth Exchange program by sponsoring another student for the next year.

Books and magazines needed for the hospital. Rev. Fred Cartier is collecting books and magazines for Northern Dutchess Hospital's reading cart. Please bring your magazines and books to Fred at any breakfast meeting. Labels have been made to affix to the magazines indicating they have been donated by the Red Hook Rotary Club.
