Romania-costumes
In Romania there is a large variety of folk or ethnic dresses. From region to region, the costume details are so different that one can identify the area of Romania in which a person lives just by their clothes style. Depending on who is counting and how the counting is done, one can list up to 120 different folkloric or ethnographic zones, but a few are very similar. There are over 140 plates, presenting about 280 figures. Duplicate pictures refer to old-new and summer-winter outfits. The book presents costumes from 97 ethnographic zones and mentions which zones are similar, so you will have an idea about the Romanian Folk Costumes of all 120 ethnographic zones.
