Rang De, the philanthropic organization planned to host Robin Sharma’s “Lead without A Title” event as a fundraiser to knock out poverty in India! They partnered with Strategic Outsourcing Services to help them bring the event to Bangalore, India. Strategic Outsourcing agreed to become the Marketing Partner for the event scheduled to be held on 29th February 2012 at Taj Vivanta, Bangalore between 9.00 am to 12.00 pm. In order to ensure that the event is a runaway success, Strategic Outsourcing Services initiated its digital marketing with the Early Bird Campaign. Rang De is a non-profit, web based social initiative that supports rural entrepreneurs from low
income households with cost-effective loans to either set up or run their business. Its vision is to
knock out poverty from India by providing access to low cost microcredit.
The Client
Rang De, the philanthropic organization planned to host Robin Sharma’s “Lead without A Title”
event as a fundraiser to knock out poverty in India! They partnered with Strategic Outsourcing
Services to help them bring the event to Bangalore, India. Strategic Outsourcing agreed to
become the Marketing Partner for the event scheduled to be held on 29th February 2012 at Taj
Vivanta, Bangalore between 9.00 am to 12.00 pm.
The Scenario
In order to ensure that the event is a runaway success, Strategic Outsourcing Services initiated
its digital marketing with the Early Bird Campaign. They designed the Web Copy, Landing pages
and eCampaign roll out plan along with the creative for the event.
Realizing that the seats for the event were selling out fast, Strategic initiated a Premium Ferrari
Class Campaign, where the donation value was Rs. 1 lakh per seat. This campaign was well
received, and a major Government organization committed 200 seats for the same.
However, they decided not to consider the event 2 days prior to the event leaving an inventory
of 200 seats vacant worth Rs 20 Lakhs. Making the most of the situation, Strategic Outsourcing
Services immediately launched a Late bird Blitzkreig campaign with the special Coupon code to
create a buzz prior to the event.
Solution
The event was a great success with the attendees, promoters and Robin Sharma fans who had
a phenomenal energizing session. Rang De was extremely happy with the success of the
campaign and managed to get required funds to incorporate their vision.
