Recent Career Achievements

including one for the production of journal data files which flawlessly load into PeopleSoft

- Built a QlikView model for complex reconciling of data between the finance system and an analysis system

I was previously working at loss adjuster's Cunningham Lindsey as a Finance Systems Analyst, primarily working with Coda. My proudest project was the Oriel Remittance Advices project, where my achievements included:

- Enhanced existing software with new database tables and SQL coding to expand its use

- Used Crystal Reports to build professional BACS remittance advice templates for use by the RA software

- Created .reg files for the swift configuring of ODBC connections

I had a number of other successes in the role including:- Expanded the configuration of BACS payment software- Implemented a DB trigger to remove a lengthy process

Above all, I value the time that I spend with my wife, son and baby daughter – Everything else in life makes sense because of them. I greatly enjoy fundraising for charity: I was head of a group of fundraising volunteers for Save the Children in Reading, for which I organised numerous fundraising events, including a charity gig and a “Christmas Jumper Day” at my former workplace. I also enjoy a wide variety of movies and alternative music.
