Responsible for managing and directing a crew consisting of craftsmen both technically and non-technically oriented.

Monitored budgets and craft performance of actual versus scheduled start and completion of all bills; reports schedule variances with causes and probable impact, and initiates action for correction. Maintained budget and cost performance records for assigned area.

2002 – 2004 Simplex-Turmar Inc. Port Colborne, ONField Engineer and Service Manager

Managed shipyard workers during repair and/or construction of vessels during dry-docking. The products serviced during this period were the Blohm-Voss stern tube seals and bearings. I handled the overseeing of repairs to insure quality assurance. These services were preformed throughout locations worldwide.

2000 – 2002 Orion Refinery Norco, LAProcess Plant Operator

As an operator I performed the operation of gasoline blending. Also, was a voluntary on the emergency response team.

1998 - 2002 John Crane Lips Inc. Buffalo Grove, IL Field Engineer

Factory trained on John Crane Stern tube and Pump Seals. Factory trained on Lips Fixed and Controllable Pitch Propellers. Managed shipyard workers during repairs. Insured the Quality

Control of all repairs was followed. The repairs were performed throughout the world.

1995 - 1998 Orion Refinery Norco, LA

Maintenance Millwright As a millwright I handled the repair of pumps, compressors,

turbines, and fin fans at an oil refinery.

1994 – 1995 Avondale Shipyard Avondale, LAFirst Class Outside Machinist

As a machinist I handled the repair and new installation of pumps, compressors, main engines, turbines, and propulsion systems.

1990 – 1994 U.S. Navy Charleston, SCSecond Class Machinist Mate (SS)

As a machinist mate I served on a Nuclear Powered submarine. My duties were to operate and maintain the following: high pressure air systems, potable water systems, hydraulic systems, atmosphere control systems, damage control gear, and diesel generator. Qualified Submarines.
