What Does Phase 2 Mean
Players shouldn't be involved in other sports or training cohorts due to
contact tracing protocols.
Players will stay in the cohorts for 3-4 weeks. Cohorts will be used to help assess players in prep for any game formats and new training groups.
Cohort groups will be able to have games, scrimmages and training together.
Players will be placed in cohorts for training groups. Club staff will decide these training cohorts.
What is a Cohort?
Players Bring Water and Bags to
ensure all items together. All
items brought are sanitized

Sanitize before, during,
after sessions. Provided
by club at the field.
Must leave directly after
training
No spitting on fields.
No bathrooms at fields
Drop off and exit points
must be followed at the
fields.

What are the rules?
Parent or Guardian must complete all online logs for each session. Link will be accessible via club website and through email.

travel outside of Canada.

You or someone you know was in contact in the
last 14 days with someone who tested positive.

If you recently had any issues breathing.
Trouble Breathing
Players - RolesIdentify when not feeling well before,
during or after session. If before must be
marked down.
Players bring ball, water bottle and
ensure all properly labelled. No sharing of
items while at soccer.
Enter and exit at identified locations,
sanitize hands before, during and after
sessions. Leave field directly after your
session time.
Parents - RolesComplete waiver specific to Covid-19 from
CMSA & Club. Follow player well being
checklist before training.
Follow pickup and drop off locations for
your child at the field. This will be
mapped and emailed for members.
Complete tracing logs at, before or after
each session. Sanitize player gear before
attending session
Staff & Coach - RolesAny equipment used is sanitized before
and after each session. Check in quickly
with players well being ( yes or no answers)
Respect the cohort groupings and will
socially distance if staff, coach or trainer
involved in another cohort.
Supporting attendance of players in
session. Fill out own survey for health and
well being each session. Sanitize before
and after each session.
