Resume Reflection

   

The purpose of my resume is to catch the attention of my potential

employer. I feel that the usage of infographics and an effective color

scheme are the fastest ways to do this. In order to show the types of

expertise’s that I have acquired I used a “summary” section and a

“highlighted courses” section. I thought that by giving employers

information regarding my experiences was the best way to highlight

my skills.

Then on the opposite side of the design I literally highlighted my

skills, languages, and software knowledge. That way I get both the

attention from HR concerned with content as well as the HR

concerned with visual appeal. My font choices are “Ostrich Sans

Black” for the Header fonts and Acid for my san-serif body text font.

I thought the usage of black and navy was sleek and industrialized, the

words of my brand.

I think this resume is very effective because it combines the well-

designed aspects of my previous resume with more information added

regarding my previous work experience.
