Earlier, worked in Network Engineering Group where I was looking after analysis & planning of distribution

network and scheme preparation for network strengthening, augmentation & extension to accommodate

load growth and new connections.

Prime Responsibilities were-

To analyse existing distribution network for Sustainability, Load Growth & Contingency.

To prepare Scheme for network augmentation.

Electrification of un-electrified areas. Major Achievements-

Prepared network improvement schemes of amounting INR 15 Crores.

Special drive for LT network technical (line) loss reduction.

Member of quality testing team of Cable Procurement. Clearance given for delivery of Cables Approx. 3 Crores after acceptance tests.

High Revenue Base & Automated Meter Reading (HRB-AMR) Group (from May’09 to Sep’13) Prior to that, was part of High Revenue Base & Automated Meter Reading (HRB-AMR) Group for over 4 years. Prime Responsibilities were-

To minimize time in installation of new connections and load augmentation requests

To ensure less tripping to high revenue feeders

To analyse the downloaded data for tamper and theft detection in CT meters

To maximize revenue realized by reducing defaulters and timely payments by the consumers.

To enhance Consumer Satisfaction and effective Grievance Redressal. Major Achievements-

Reduced average bill generation cycle from 25 to 18 days.

New connection installation average time reduced from 60 to 35 days.

More than 1 time defaulters were reduced from 10-11% to below 1%.

Consumer Satisfaction Index (CSI) increased from 71% to 85%.

Meter Management group (from Aug’06 to April’09) Earlier worked in Meter Management group of the company for almost 3 years. Prime Responsibilities were-

To ensure timely installation of meters after ensuring the feasibility as per DERC regulations

To check quality and accuracy testing of meters after installation
