Analyze and evaluate services, coverage, and options available through insurance andinvestment companies to determine programs best meeting needs of the organization.

Continue to advance knowledge of federal/state laws and regulations, in the ever changing(HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, EGGTRA, ARRA, ACA etc.) to ensure companycompliance.

Partner with broker to negotiate contracts with benefit plan providers, vendors, auditors andconsultants for comprehensive services, competitive premiums and plan administration.

Design and communicate information to employees and former employees about benefitprograms, procedures, changes, and government-mandated disclosures.

Develop recommend and monitor budget allocations for employee benefit programs. Prepare and submit data for government-mandated reports such as 5500’s. Prepare and

research data for audits on the 401(k) plan, and compile data for mid-year, year-enddiscrimination and top-heavy testing.

Manage leave of absence claims process by working with supervisors and third party providersto ensure timely return-to-work, needed accommodations, reduction in claim payments andemployer FICA reporting to Ceridian for W-2’s.

Interface with all levels of employees from preparing and presenting proposals to ExecutiveManagement, to benefit claim/compensation/payroll issue resolution with managers,supervisors and other employees.

Produce and analyze billings and remit benefit payments to carriers on a monthly basis. Process file transfers for FSA, Transit and 401k deposits to vendors each payroll processing.

HRISManage HRIS systems on a company wide basis including vendor negotiations, maintainingvendor relations, and overseeing system upgrades. Remain up to date on changes in technologyand recommend system changes as appropriate.

Implement downloads/uploads from HRIS system and coordinate transfer of data through filefeeds to external vendors, plan providers, auditors and consultants.

Modify and customize system codes, tables, reports and other system applications to meetuser requirements.

Produce reports on a monthly basis for various departments (turnover, headcount, terms & newhires etc.)

Managed successful migration from Peoplesoft to Ceridian Web product in January 2005. Introduced the US to the global HRIS system (Workday) in 2014. Worked with Workday

implementation team to produce and test a payroll interface from Workday to the Ceridianpayroll system to maintain integrity between the two systems. Also was lead in training andemployee questions on the Workday system for the US
