Over the past few years, Renmar has been able to develop an enviable reputationthroughout the processing industries - particularly plastics - by understanding andutilising that most important commodity that so often eludes even the largest andmost established of companies; customer service.

As a family run business located in Northamptonshire, Renmar specialises inequipment for temperature control, materials handling, metal detection andseparation, granulators, belt conveyors, thermoforming, extrusion and recycling. Formany major companies within the plastics industries, Renmar isn’t simply a supplier ofequipment; it is also there to provide servicing, trouble-shooting and general industryadvice.

Renmar was founded ten years ago by plastics industry specialist, Kevin Horne who,to begin with, worked from a spare room at home. He soon outgrew the spare roomand moved into a small industrial unit in Wellingborough with son Dan as GeneralManager and daughter Kristy as Sales Manager. Soon after this move, theopportunity arose to purchase a nearby industrial building and, after many hours ofhard work, the comfortable and impressive premises which now houses Renmar werecompleted.

Today, Renmar is either the agent or distributor for many of the better-knownequipment or system manufacturers within the processing industries. These includeAEC, Cumberland, Virginio Nastri, Marse, Pulsotronic, Amut, Amut Ecotech andAmut Dolci Bielloni.

TEMPERATURE CONTROLAs the UK distributor for AEC, a part of the ACS Group, Renmar offer a wide and varied range of temperature control equipment including mould heaters, chillers and oil heaters.

TCU MOULD HEATERSProvides highly accurate control for production applications requiring a continuous supply of temperature-controlled water up to 150oC. They are designed for injection moulding machines with heating capacity 9-48kw but can be adapted to a more specialist unit for the process industry.

VCU MOULD HEATERSPerforms same as the TCU but does not come with extras such asflow/pressure gauges and starts from as little as £1150.00.

Both versions feature as standard –

• Off-the-shelf microprocessor based PID temperature controller with Process and Setpoint LED readouts

• Graphic control panel with indicator and warning lights

• Compact cabinet

• Branch fusing

• Independent high temperature safety thermostat

• Flow rates of 132 to 284 litres per minute with 2.0 to 3.7 bar pressure.

CHILLERSTo complement the mould heater range AEC offer environmentally friendly portable chillers.

The chillers feature as standard:

• Branch motor fusing

• Y strainer on process water lineto evaporator

• Off-the-shelf modular controllerwhich is accurate to within +/- 0.6c

• Easy to read LCD display

• Stainless steel pump

MATERIALS HANDLING EQUIPMENTRenmar provide a vast range of materials handling equipment enabling us to offer an array of solutions from blenders, dryers and hopper loaders.

BD BLENDERThe BD series Batch Weigh blenders integrate advanced technologies with provencomponent design to offer a capable and innovative blending solution.

BD Series blenders feature an exclusive diamond-design slide gate metering assembly that provides 0.5% to 100% recipe range accuracy for free flowing materials.

MA LOADERThe MA loader is our economical single phaseloader with 800W and 1100W motors completewith built-in filter cleaning facility. Stainlesssteel construction body with easy to usecontrols. The MA units can be used inconjunction with the VP proportional valve,with the option of both units being controlledfrom one panel.

MAT LOADERThe MAT is our competitive three phase hopper loaderswith a range of vacuum pump sizes according to duty,again this have both built-in and remote filter systemsavailable. The MAT-DUO is constructed in a way sothat two loaders can be controlled from one vacuumpump and control system. The MAT can also be usedin conjunction with the VP units.

MDD DRYERThe range of MDD dehumidified dryers is specifically designed forthe plastics industries, and as such is packed with features which include an automatic programming facility offering a variety of different timing options together with industry leading safety features including compressed air failure warning, over temperature alarm and desiccant bed change-over valve location.

The range consists of nine different models, starting with the MDD 1-10 which has air-flow of 60m3/h and a hopper size of 15 litres up to the MDD 70 for an air-flow of 500m3/h and a hopper size of 1500 litres.

Every dryer in the MDD series is manufactured from Stainless steel and has a one year warranty.

GRANULATORSAnother arm of the ACS Group available through Renmar it the Cumberland range of industrial shredders andgranulators which are designed to handle anything from simple sprues through to large mouldings, blowmoulded parts/parison or profile reclaim.

We offer all spare parts for the Cumberland range of granulators from new blades & screens to bolts &washers, and we also offer on-site servicing and maintenanceof Cumberland granulators at reasonable rates.

Cumberland have a complete range of industrial granulators and industrialshredders from the small 16 series granulator capable of granulating 50-100kgs per hour right through to the large 50 series granulator capable of doing more than 900kgs per hour.

The different series of granulators caters for different customer needs:

LOW SPEED GRANULATORS -16 SERIESAre used as a behind the press machines and have many applications includinginjection and blow-molding, small extruded tubes & profiles and edge trims from sheet extrusion.

COMPACT GRANULATORS - 20 SERIESSound insulated machines offer compact granulation, are easy to move around and are ideal for rejected products from the blow molding, injection and extrusion process. 20 series granulators have an average throughput of 60-110 kg/hr.

GENERAL PURPOSE GRANULATORS25, 30 & 40 SERIES25 series is ideal for beside the press regrinding of rejected components from injection molding, blow molding and extrusion process. The 25 series granulators have an average throughput of 205-250 kg/hr.

The 30 series granulators have an average throughput of 230-410 kg/hr whereas the 40 series have an average of 410-820 kg/hr.

MEDIUM-SIZED GRANULATOR

50 SERIESThe 50 series are designed specifically to reclaim large or bulk parts. Available in three models, 5070, 5090 and 50120, this machine makes larger items from injection and blow molding easier to process.

CENTRAL GRANULATORS X SERIESThe X Series is a strong, versatile machine which has been engineered to deal with the toughest injection molded parts. This model features low-heatgranulation, reduced energy consumption and easy accessibility.

Cumberland also produce shredders and their range covers everything from single, twin and four shaft shredders, all with screen and screenless designs.

The production of the company has been divided into 3 major lines:

• Custom Line; including custom made conveyors on requestand automation system for control of moulded parts.This includes the new box lift system as well as the new extendable conveyor.
