Research into titles..

Opening of Seven

The opening of Seven is significant because they use the same type of opening sequence that we are going to use, therefore it is important they we research in this product and take some ideas. We copied the idea of title appearing on a black screen and fading on. But all titles at one time as opposed to one name at one time.

We could use our logo as our first shot to introduce the production of our opening sequence. Although this is not on our storyboard I feel as if it would be beneficial. We could cut straight to the next shot, or we could have the first actual cameral shot of the scene fade in over the top.

This would be our first title, of the director, I feel as if this font does not represent our genre of horror, but it could be a possibility, by conferring with the group.

Yasmin Morris I think this is a strong possibility for our titles because it does represent horror although it could be difficult to read, that would reflect the complexity of our storyline.

This a more formal font and would mean that our presentation could look more formal, but it would not suit our theme of horror, it depends in what way we would want our production to appear.

Here I am experimenting with the format of background so that we can see a variety of different titles. The white flashes may work because we are using jump cuts, which include white flashes. (Font to be decided)

Our group must come to he conclusion of what our opening sequence is going to be named. Due to a change in storyline, we were not able to continue with out original title of “Are they who they say they are?”. This means our group need to conjugate together and come together with a suitable title. As this is our closing shot.
