Objectives of Industrial training
Industrial training or internship gives students a chance to experience a real working situation.
At the end of the training, students are expected to achieve the following: 1. Describe the aspects of engineering works and its
management.2. Distinguish the roles of engineering in the workplace.3. Cooperate with others as a teamwork. 4. Determine how to solve engineering problems
by applying technical knowledge in practice.

Registration Rules and Regulations1. The course runs only during the summer semester.2. Eligible students must be at least in the 3rd year and
have accumulated at least 64 credits at the first semester of that academic year.
3. It is not permitted to register any other course concurrently.
4. If a student obtained grade I (Incomplete) in any course from the previous semester, he/she needs to resolve the course to formal grades within the first two weeks of the summer semester. Otherwise, it will be automatically converted to grade F.

2. Pay the tuition fee for summer session via SCB.4,500 Baht (Thai & Foreign student)May 27-29, 2013
3. Pay the program fee at ISE office 17,500 Baht(Thai student), 56,500(foreign student) June 3-14, 2013

Course Requirements
1. Students must attend the orientation organized by ISE before the industrial training.
2. Training period must cover at least 280 working hours (35 working days and 7 working weeks).
3. On time submission of all related documents(e.g. FIT3 Information of the training organization and supervisor and FIT1 Biweekly report. )
Failure to comply with the requirements will automatically result in a U grade.

• Bi-weekly report table will be automatically showed after you’ve entered the training’s start and end date.
• You can add the report file when the link appear

Committee and there is some comment, you will receive an email alert.

Endorsement and due date • Form FIT3: Information of
the training organization and supervisor must be endorsed by the supervisor and submit to ISE within 7 days after starting the training.
• Form FIT1: Biweekly reports must be endorsed by the supervisor and sent to ISE every two weeks.

Supervisor’s Evaluation
• On the last week of training, “Supervisor Evaluation” Box will appear and you can send the email to your evaluator.
• Students should follow up their supervisor evaluation and request his/her to submit to ISE within 2 weeks after the last day of training.
Supervisor’s Evaluation
• Alternatively, hardcopy of FIT2 is also attached to official letter given to organization on the first day of training. Supervisor can also fill in this hardcopy of FIT2, scanned and send to [email protected] as confidential mail within 2 weeks after the last day of training.

Submitting Full Report• On the last week of training, “Full Report” Box
will appear and you can submit your full report.• The report file must be PDF file that is not over 5
MB• Submit the full report within two weeks after the
last day of the industrial training. • If the last day is later than July 12, 2013, the
report must be submitted no later than August 2, 2013.

• If students cannot access the webpage, please submit the report via email [email protected] or via the postal mail.

Grading Criteria1. Information of the training organization and supervisor

2. Report 2.1 Bi-weekly report (FIT 1) 10 points 2.2 Full report 40 points
o 10 points for Statement of purpose, abstract, introductiono 10 points for Clarity of training detailso 10 points for Report organization and sentence structure o 10 points for Documentation (references, appendices) and formatting
3. Supervisor’s evaluation (FIT 2) 40 points
Total 100 points
• The final grade is S (satisfied) or U (unsatisfied).
• Score of at least 60 points will be graded as ‘S’.
