Non-Public School Institutions Kept in separate file at DOE Have a unique code: A### Assigned designations and

classifications same as schools

Institution changes sent to DOE each summer by district MSID contact person

Eligible Students 5-17 years old Reside in or served in a qualified

institution Meet the “count period” requirement

Count Period District selects 30 day period, one day

Reporting Homeless data is required regardless of whether district receives grant funding
