Portion of present Rule.-" The management of the Associa- tion shall be vested in a Council consisting of a President, four Vice-Presidents. Gaster and C. Binns were appointed Scrutineers, and the Ballot declared open. The report of the Council for the year 1913 (see vol. xxv, p. 271) was then read. It was moved by Mr. H. A. Allen and seconded by Mr. A. S. Kennard, "That the report just read be adopted as the Annual Report of the Association for the year 1913, including the Statement of Account." This was carried. The following alteration in Rule XIII, of which due noticehad been given, was adopted unanimously.

The best thanks of the Association were then voted to theOfficers, to the Members of Council retiring from office, to theAuditors, and to the Scrutincers, on the motion of Mr. G. Potter,seconded by Miss L. B. Morris.

The President then delivered the Annual Address, entitled:"The Wearing Down of the Rocks, Part II" (see page 229).

On the motion of Mr. J. F. N. Green, seconded by Mr.Percy Thompson, it was resolved" That the President's Address,just read, be printed in full and circulated amongst theMembers."

The Annual General Meeting then terminated.ORDINARY MEETING, Friday, February 6th, 1914.-Mr.
