Many people let their inner voice guide them. Some may call it a feeling, or inspiration; a “gut feeling” or “intuition.” But for those who recognize their spiritual need, and for those who seek God’s guidance in their lives, how do you know for sure if you are just listening to your own emo-tions or not? How do you know if you are hearing God or yourself? There are many ways to fi nd out without a doubt who is doing the talking! We will explore several ways to do this, and you will learn a prayer to help you know God’s will for you. May the peace and love of God be with you.

BORN AGAIN?What does it mean to be Born Again? What did the re-ligious leader mean when he said to Jesus, “We know you are a teacher who has come from God....For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him?” What did Jesus mean when he replied saying: “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” It answers to questions such as these that the Nassau and Stuyvesant Reformed Churches will deal as they take up the message in the Gospel of John 3:1-17 on Sunday, March 16th. In the sermon the Rever-end Edward L. Van Kampen will speak about how we help a person to “Shine with God’s Light in his heart,” that is be “Born Again?” Join us and come to more fully understand what it means to develop a new outward focus, a new set of values, and come in to a new family- a family of the Spirit. GILEAD LUTHERAN CHURCH STORY DINNEROur March story dinner will be held on Friday, March 21st, in the Fellowship Hall at 6PM. The stories connected with these dinners are not stories about religion, in fact most of them are about ordinary people on their travels through life. Some of these stories are funny and some of them can be sad. At February’s dinner, we learned about disaster relief and how to be prepared in case of a disaster. We learned how the “Lutheran Disaster Relief” team aids vic-tims of disasters, not just created by mother nature, but by other means. As always, there is not charge for the meal. We only ask that you make a donation to one of the chari-ties that we offer. For the month of February, we donated $102.00 to “Lutheran Disaster Response”. We look forward to seeing you on March 21st at Gilead Lutheran Church, located at the jct of Rte. 7 & 278. Again, dinner is at 6PM. Call the church offi ce at 279-9270 if you have questions.
