Description: The HDA 4400 intrinsically safe pressure transmitters are specially developed for use with the medium hydrogen and in hazardeous areas. Their design is based on the HDA 4000 series. By the use of two extremely precise and robust stainless steel measuring cells with thin-film strain gauges, each with their own electronics, the sensor comes complete with a redundant architecture and as a result has two output signals separate and independent from each other. These two output signals are inverted (signal 1 = 4 .. 20 mA and signal 2 = 20 .. 4 mA). This causes that the energy within the intrinsically safe circuit is kept constant as at any pressure the sum of the two output signals is 24 mA. Connection is carried out via a two channel Ex approved zener barrier. The dual approval in accordance with ATEX and IECEx enables universal, almost world-wide utilisation of the devices in potentially explosive atmospheres. By means of their redundant setup the transmitters are best suitable for safety circuits or functions in oil and gas industry. The equipment also is applicable in mining industry and fields with high dust exposure. Therewith main fields of application are in intrinsic safety systems. Description: These HDA 8400 versions of pressure transmitters are specially developed for the use with the medium hydrogen and for series applications, e.g. in the mobile sector. Description: The HDA 4400 intrinsically safe pressure transmitters are specially developed for use with the medium hydrogen and in hazardeous areas. Their design is based on the HDA 4000 series. By the use of two extremely precise and robust stainless steel measuring cells with thin-film strain gauges, each with their own electronics, the sensor comes complete with a redundant architecture and as a result has two output signals separate and independent from each other. These two output signals are inverted (signal 1 = 4 .. 20 mA and signal 2 = 20 .. 4 mA). This causes that the energy within the intrinsically safe circuit is kept constant as at any pressure the sum of the two output signals is 24 mA. Connection is carried out via a two channel Ex approved zener barrier. The dual approval in accordance with ATEX and IECEx enables universal, almost world-wide utilisation of the devices in potentially explosive atmospheres. By means of their redundant setup the transmitters are best suitable for safety circuits or functions in oil and gas industry. The equipment also is applicable in mining industry and fields with high dust exposure. Therewith main fields of application are in intrinsic safety systems. The main fields of application are found in safety-related systems. Due to the specially selected material, these HDA 4400 are suited for the use in hydrogen applications. Description: These HDA 8400 versions of pressure transmitters are specially developed for the use with the medium hydrogen and for series applications, e.g. in the mobile sector. As with most of the HYDAC pressure transmitters, the HDA 8400 have a robust and long-life measurement cell with thin-film strain gauge. All of the parts getting in contact with media (sensor cell and mechanical connection) are made of stainless steel and are welded together with each other. This means that there are no sealing points in the interior of the sensor hence no chance of leakage. Due to the specially selected material, these HDA 8400 are suited for the use in hydrogen applications.

Description: These HDA 8400 versions of pressure transmitters are specially developed for the use with the medium hydrogen and for series applications, e.g. in the mobile sector. As with most of the HYDAC pressure transmitters, the HDA 8400 have a robust and long-life measurement cell with thin-film strain gauge. All of the parts getting in contact with media (sensor cell and mechanical connection) are made of stainless steel and are welded together with each other. This means that there are no sealing points in the interior of the sensor hence no chance of leakage. Due to the specially selected material, these HDA 8400 are suited for the use in hydrogen applications. All HDA 8400 have successfully passed the component testing for type approval according to EC 79-2009 / V0 406-2010.
