reflection observation one-2

Reflection Observation One For my figured world, I had to pick something I would be comfortable writing about or working with for an entire semester. Little to my knowledge I would pick something that I have been involved with throughout my military career. While stationed overseas, I had been introduced to crossfit and over the course of my term I had learned to love the drive and push. So why not choose something I enjoy. From this experience (observation one) I learned why people, other then military service men and women, choose such an amazing community, the goals that participants try to achieve and the dedication that one choses to be different. From the observation I learned that I had trouble adding things that I knew had to be added such as another description of location when I switched locations. There were topics and detailed observation points that needed to be included. Like most papers I questioned if what I had written would be sufficient enough for my peers and especially my professor. I’ve always found that to be a weakness, worrying if I had written what was needed. From this I learned that I could never be too wrong, that even the greatest of writers’ will have their mistakes. A strength during my observation was having the ability to talk to people and ask them questions. I had the privileged to understand why people chose crossfit and how it has affected their lives. To better understand the community and the environment. One big weakness I had during this assignment was what really counted as going above and beyond. I had wondered how I could really put effort into making this epic! In the end I had taken photos of all that had happened during my observation and made a prezi. Comments. As we did the peer feedback I learned a lot about my writing. The way I had asked questions and the way I had described the location as if they had walked through themselves. Within the comments I had received, one asked for me to give a description of Crossfit Charlotte. I used this as an example because I realized some things I had missed. They allowed me to see mistakes within my paper that I was either to stubborn to realize or that I had simply

Reflection Observation OneFor my figured world, I had to pick something I would be comfortable writing about or working with for an entire semester. Ive always found that to be a weakness, worrying if I had written what was needed. From this I learned that I could never be too wrong, that even the greatest of writers will have their mistakes. They allowed me to see mistakes within my paper that I was either to stubborn to realize or that I had simply forgot. My peers had shown me things that I had missed and what I could work on such as adding descriptions to the gym equipment. Overall the peer feedback was amazing and going through other papers I learned what worked and what didnt. Things I could work on and places I could improve. Overall, having my teacher/mentor there for questions was helpful and without her guidance I would not have been able to go above and beyond. Although there were times I had thought about quitting and leaving it as is, she simply gave advice and helped me along the way. Through the paper I had phone observing the classes and tried to be as detailed as I could. I hope you enjoy the paper!
