REFERAT - Mole Antonelliana

TRANSCRIPT

The Mole Antonelliana is a major landmark building and symbol of Turin. The tower's classical style contrasts with its vertical progress. The Mole was built in 19th century by architect Alessandro Antonelli. Until a few years ago, it was the highest stone building in Europe (167.50 meters). At the beginning, the Mole was a Synagogue, and then became the house of the Museo del Risorgimento, and now it's the site of the new National Cinema Museum. There is a lift to the top. From up there there's a spectacular view of the town. The Museum of the Cinema is very beautiful and interesting. Opening times : 10.00 17.00, Tuesday to SundayClosed on Monday
