The process of centralized valuation of answer scripts of SSLC
Examination March 2012 in various centralized valuation camps will
commence on 2nd April 2012. Eligible and qualified teachers can apply for the
post of Additional Chief Examiners and Assistant Examiners at various
centralized valuation camps.
Applications are invited in this regard and the same is to be submitted
only through online using the website www.keralapareekshabhavan.in and
the printout of the same should be forwarded to Pareeksha Bhavan through
Head of the school concerned. 54 centralized valuation camps are arranged at
four zones for the smooth conduct of the valuation. In each zone, two
centralized valuation camps will be held for English, Social Science and
Mathematics papers and one each for other main papers. Teachers who
belong to that particular zone can apply for the examinership in any of the
two camps of their convenience for English, Social Science and Mathematics.
Separate zone arrangements are made for minor languages. Teachers
should opt the camps in their respective zone only.
Two centralized valuation camps are arranged for Arabic, Sanskrit and
Urdu papers in the State. For valuation of Arabic and Urdu papers, teachers
working in Malappuram revenue district should opt only GHS Chavakkad
and teachers working in other districts should opt Govt. Ganapath Boys HS
Kozhikkode only.

In the case of Sanskrit, teachers working in Kasargod, Kannur,
Wayanad, Kozhikkode, Malappuram and Palakkad revenue districts should
opt Govt. Ganapath Boys HS Chalappuram, Kozhikkode and teachers in other
districts have to opt GHS Chavakkad as the camp for valuation.
This year, two valuation camps are arranged for each Tamil Paper (both
language and subject papers). Camp ‘T1’ for South and South Central zones
and Camp ‘T2‘ for Central and North zones. Tamil teachers working in South
zone and South Central zone have to opt only Tamil valuation camps
arranged in South zone (T1) and teachers in Central zone and North zone
have to opt only Tamil valuation camps (T2) arranged in Central zone.
The name of Centralized Valuation Camps and subjects allotted to each
camp are furnished below.

Applicants must be handling classes in the particular subject applied
for in Standard X during the current academic year. They should also
possess Degree/Post Graduate Degree along with B.Ed in that particular
subject. In the case of IT subject, only the school IT Co-ordinators/Joint
SITCS handling IT subject in Standard X during this year need to apply for
examinership.
The Head of school must recommend application for examinership
after the verification of the service details and eligibility of teachers. During
the previous years it was noticed that applications were submitted by certain
teachers for the post of Assistant Examiner with incorrect particulars related
to the period of service and chances attended. The local appointments made
by the Camp Officers should also be treated as a chance for valuation.

Therefore, applications from teachers must be countersigned and
recommended by the Headmasters only after proper verification of the
service records of the persons concerned. Applications which are incomplete
and with incorrect details will be summarily rejected, without any
correspondence from this office. If any of the teachers happened to get
selection as Assistant Examiner based on the incorrect details furnished by
them, their selection will be cancelled forthwith and disciplinary actions will
also be initiated against the teacher and the Head of the school who
countersigned and recommended such application. It should be clearly stated
in the application that whether the application is to the post of Assistant
Examiner or Additional Chief Examiner. Cancellation of appointment of
examinership is generally not allowed but in genuine cases prior sanction
from the Secretary, Pareeksha Bhavan should be obtained.
The examiners will be paid remuneration as per existing orders. They
will also be paid TA & DA as per G.O.(P) No.85/2011/Fin dated 26/02/2011.
The camp will last for about three weeks. The time of work will be from 9.30
am to 4.30 pm. Each examiner will have to value the following number of
scripts per day.
English, Social Science and Mathematics - 24 scripts
First Language Part I, First Language Part II, Hindi/G.K, Physics, Chemistry and Biology - 36 scripts
Information Technology - 64 scripts
The examiners will have to make their own arrangements for boarding
and lodging, if necessary. However, there is no objection for using the school
building allotted by Camp Officer for the purpose for accommodation for
those necessary.
OTHER ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS
1. Those who have completed a minimum of 3 years of service as
H.S.A on 31/03/2012 can apply for the post of Assistant Examiner.
2. Those who have completed a minimum of 15 years of service as
H.S.A on 31/3/2012 can apply for the post of Additional Chief
Examiner.

3. The application form prescribed and appended to this circular
should only be used.
4. The period allotted for online registration is from 15/12/2011 to
28/12/2011. The printout of applications, duly countersigned and
recommended by the Head of the school should be submitted to the
DEO concerned on or before 02/01/2012.
5. Those who are due to retire from service on or before 30/04/2012
are not eligible to be appointed as Assistant Examiners /Addl. Chief
Examiners.
6. The teachers against whom disciplinary action is pending for any
reason and who are found guilty of such misconduct are not eligible
for submitting application for valuation.
7. Teachers of unaided schools are not eligible to apply for valuation.
Their applications should not be forwarded to this office for
consideration on any account.
8. If anybody relinquishes the appointment, the reason thereof with
documental evidence, if any, should be forwarded through the DEO
concerned to the Secretary, Pareeksha Bhavan for approval. Other
wise, their appointment should be considered as genuine and the
appointee is to attend duty in the camp allotted.
9. If sufficient applications are not received for any subject,
compulsory appointment will be made from the list of qualified
teachers furnished by the DEO concerned from the respective zone.

Particulars noted in the application regarding the period of
service and chances attended by the teachers during previous
years should invariably be verified by the Head of the schools
with supportive evidences from the Service Book and
examination register.
Preference will be given to teachers who attended invigilation
duty in 2011 March examination. Headmaster should note in the
printout whether the applicant attended the invigilation duty last
year or not.
For the valuation of Information Technology Paper, School I.T.
Co-ordinators (SITC/JSITC), handling IT subject in Standard X
during the year 2011-2012 only need to be applied.
Instructions for submitting application through online
1. Visit the website of Pareeksha Bhavan, www.keralapareekshabhavan.in
Click on the link “Application for Additional Chief
Examiner/Assistant Examiner SSLC 2012.” Enter the school code
and PF Account Number of the applicant. If the applicant has no
PF Account Number, one additional digit should be added to
school code instead of PF Account Number (for example:
Assume that the school code is “11001” then enter digit ‘1’ after
the school code [110011] as PF Account Number for the first
teacher, who has no PF Account Number. If there is another 8
teacher, in the same school then use digit ‘2’ with the school code
[110012] as PF Account Number and so on. (The Headmaster in
the forwarding letter should specify the reason for not having
the P.F. number to the applicant)
2. Then select the button Additional Chief Examiner /Assistant
Examiner as in the case may be and the application form derived
should be filled up properly and saved.
3. If any editing is required on the saved application, the same shall
be done by using the “Edit” button by entering the PF Account
Number.
4. The printout of the application can be taken by using the print
button.
5. The printout of the application duly signed by the applicant
should be handed over to the Head of school concerned.
6. The Head of schools should forward all the applications received
by them to the District Educational Officer concerned as a list in
sealed cover after verifying the entries in the applications with
verification to the concerned records. Headmaster shall
personally be responsible for any incorrect entry crept in to the
application form.
