GENERAL ASPECTS

• TITLE: Recycled Music.

• CYCLE: Thirst cycle.

• LEVEL: 6º level of Primary Education.

• TEMPORALISATION: three session of 50 minutes each one.

JUSTIFICATION

Interdisciplinary: • Artistic Education (Music and Plastic).• Natural Sciences.• Cross-sectional area of Environmental Education.

Focus:• Earth Day (April, 22th)• Environment Day (June, 5th)

OBJETIVES

• Increase communication in English.

• Generate environmental awareness and respect for nature.

• Discover the sonic possibilities of instruments made with waste and daily materials.

• Encourage creativity: recycling used objects through artistic expression.

CONCEPTS• Environmental pollution.

• The 3R´s still rule: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.

• English vocabulary about environmental, school tools and musical.

• Grammar: to make, to recycle, to take care of, to play (present, future simple and future continuous).

• Different sounds.

METHODOLOGY• Constructivist Aproach :– Based on pupil´s experience and on their knowledge previous.– The children build themselves knowledge across manipulation, listen,

sing, and conversation.

• The teacher must create a carefully ambient.

• We´ll considerer different types of intelligence and different learning styles.

• We´ll work with different types of grouping:– Big Group– Small Group – Pair work

– Individual work

EVALUATION

• Continuous evaluation: • At the beginning of the teaching learning process (Initial Evaluation).• During the process (Formative evaluation).• At the end of the teaching learning process (Final Evaluation).

– Instruments of evaluation: observation, questionnaires, self evaluation, several evaluation

activities, revision of notebooks, pupil´s participation.

– We will examinate our teacher´s labour.
