A Look At Drew

The Elementary School

Behind Drew

Drew has big ambition- to provide a cradle-to-college pipeline so that every student living in its Atlanta community graduates high school with college admittance in hand.

The school started with 240children in grades kindergarten through fifth and has since grown to serve more than 1200 students in Pre-K through through twelve.

The Mission and Philosophy

Their Mission- to work together as a community of teachers, staff, students, families and volunteers to provide a learning environment that emphasizes high achievement and character development.Philosophy- teaching approach that every child has gifts and talents that must be nurtured. A education at Drew supports intellectual, physical, social and emotional growth.

Drew Charter School is delighted to part of the national New Tech Network. New Tech Network (NTN) is a nonprofit organization that transforms schools into innovative learning environments. NTN’s project-based learning approach engages students with dynamic, rigorous curriculum. Through extensive professional development and hands-on coaching with NTN, we are confident that Drew teachers evolve from keepers of knowledge to facilitators of rich, relevant learning.
