*PLEASE ENCOURAGE FRESHMAN & SOPHOMORE PROBATION STUDENTS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE OFFICE OF STUDENT SUCCESS RECOVER PROGRAM*
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE IN THE RECOVER PROGRAM?
• ALL students with an academic standing of probation may participate, but the program has a focus on underrepresented underclassmen.
• We highly encourage probation students who fall into the following categories: o First - Generation o Minority Students o Freshmen (0 – 29.99 Earned Hours) o Sophomore (30 -45 Earned Hours)
WHAT IS THE RECOVER PROGRAM?
• The RECOVER program focuses on enhancing student engagement, retention, and success of probation students.
• Students are required to opt-in to the RECOVER program for fall 2020 before the 3rd week of school.
• Throughout the Fall semester, students are required to attend five “This Semester Matters” workshops. • One component of the RECOVER program is financial support through microgrants that participants
may apply for up two times during the fall semester. • Student Success Checks will be requested of instructors for students in the RECOVER program. • Student Success Coaches will work with RECOVER participants throughout the semester.

WHY SHOULD STUDENTS PARTICIPATE?
• The RECOVER program will support students academically, socially, and financially. • The RECOVER program will aid in helping probation students persist to the next semester. • RECOVER will allow students to build a strong support system with administration, faculty, peers,
and fellow participants.
