Masak, yuk! It’s time to share your heart on a plate! Tugas Anda: Provide the recipe for your signature dish for our sister school (SAIMS) in Indonesia. Your recipe text must be in Indonesian and use ingredients available to people in Indonesia. As a minimum, your recipe must include (dalam bahasa Indonesia): A description of the dish o Satu cabe: A sentence or two describing where the dish comes from and what it tastes like. o Dua cabe: A sentence or two describing where the dish comes from and why you like it. o Tiga cabe: A sentence or two describing where the dish comes from, and the significance of the dish (i.e. why it is your signature dish). A list of ingredients and their quantities Photograph/s of each step required to create the dish The cooking method o Satu cabe: Annotations of the photos (labels) o Dua cabe: Sentences based on the models used in class to describe the actions of each step o Tiga cabe: Clear step-by-step instructions that will ensure accurate reproduction of your recipe You will have time in class to prepare the recipe text with support of your peers and teacher. However, you must come prepared in Week 1 of Term 4 with: Your photos ready to use on the school computers (e.g. on a USB stick, emailed to yourself, emailed to Ibu Coutas [email protected]) A good understanding of the steps in your recipe A brainstorm of useful words and phrases from the word lists on Language Perfect that you will need to construct your recipe.
