The templates below are designed to provide you with a simple way to send updates throughout the month, keeping your supporters and the community energized and engaged. Email Marketing Tips:● Don’t be afraid to send emails often throughout the month, since this is a relatively

short program it is best to keep the news top of mind for your supporters. We recommend emailing your list of contacts a minimum of 4 times.

● Emails receive higher open rates when they include a short and punchy subject line. Keep your subject lines short and to the point.

● The human attention span is at its lowest ever - 8 seconds. Keep your emails short, and lead with the most important message so that your news does not get lost in the body of the email.

There are best practices and guidelines for each social media platform you may use. Below we have provided you with some best practices for three of the most popular social media channels: Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

Facebook Tips:● Don’t be afraid to post often, as newsfeeds cycle quickly. We recommend posting to

your Facebook page a minimum of 1-2 times per week.● Posts will reach more people on Facebook when they include an image. You can

● The shorter the better - The ideal length of a Facebook post is about 40 characters.● Make the most of your post - Thursdays and Fridays between 1pm and 3pm are
