A BEGINNERS GUIDE TO

Setting up a Facebook ad: Step by step guide1). Go to Facebook.com/manage

2). Click the green "Create an Ad" button

3). Select what kind of ad you want to perform (what is your goal?)

Stellar Media Marketing [email protected]

Page post engagement = more engagement on your statusupdates and post on your page.

Page Likes = You want more fans

Website Clicks = More website traffic

Website Conversions = More advanced targeted ad thatencourages your audience to compete a goal. ex: eventregistrations. You will need to create a little code that will goon your website for this ad.

App Install = Advertise for your application to be installed.This is more for app developers.

App Engagement = More engagement for your application.More for app developers.

Offer claims = boost claims on your Facebook offers.

4).From there you will pick your destination or what you want to promote. For Page Post Engagement ads this

will be selecting the page post you want. For Website clicks you will put in a link. Etc.

For the next couple of steps we will be going through as if doing a Clicks to Website ad5). Choose a photo. Facebook has a deal with Shutterstock so when you are at this point click "Find Images" to

search and select high quality stock image to use in your ads for free.

6). Headline: convey what you are doing

7). Description: make this conversational and include a call to action if possible.

8). Narrow audience targeting. The more specific the ad targeting the better your conversion results.

9). Name your campaign. This is for your records to keep track of ads.

10) Create a budget. If you are new try a smaller budget to test out the ad. You can always add more later.

11). Bid for clicks (this is the most cost effective and you only pay for actions).

12). Go live! Facebook will send you a message when the ad is approved. It only takes a couple of minutes.
