ALLAA-HU LAA-ILAA-HA IL-LA HUWAL

HAY - YUL QAY - YUUM

LAA- TA’ –KHU-DzU-HU SINA-TUN -WA-LAA- NAWM

Allah there is no deity save Him (alone), the Ever-

Living, the Self-Subsistent Fount of all Being. Neither

slumber overtakes Him nor sleep.



LA-HUU- MAA- FIS-SA-MAA- WAA-TI WA-MAA FIL - ARDw

To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth.



MAN-DzAL-LA-DzEE-YASH-FA-‘U –‘IN-DAHUU IL-LAA BI-IDz-NIHI

Who is there that could intercede with Him,

unless it be by His leave (permission)?



YA’-LAMU-MAA-BAY-NA AY-DEE-HIM WA-MAA KHOL-FAHUM

WA-LAA YU-HEE-TwU-NA BI-SHAY—IN – MIN- ‘IL-MI-HI-

IL-LAA- BI- MAA-SHAA-’

He knows all that lies open before men and all that is hidden

from them, whereas they cannot attain to any knowledge save

that which He wills (them to attain).



WA-SI-‘A KUR-SIY-YU-HUS-SAMAA -WAA-TI WAL-ARDw

WA-LAA YA- U-DU-HU HIF-ZU-HU-MAA

WA-HU-WAL- ‘ALIY-YUL- ‘AZEEM

His Throne (eternal power) overspreads the heavens and the

earth, and their upholding does not cause Him any fatigue (nor

weary). And He alone is truly Exalted, Tremendous.



AA-MANAR-RASUU-LU- BIMAA- UN-ZILAA-ILAY-HI- AA-MANAR-RASUU-LU- BIMAA- UN-ZILAA-ILAY-HI-

MIR-ROB-BIHI MIR-ROB-BIHI - - WAL-MU’-MI-NUU-NA WAL-MU’-MI-NUU-NA

The Messenger, and the believers with him believe in what hasThe Messenger, and the believers with him believe in what has

been bestowed upon him from on high by his Sustainer: been bestowed upon him from on high by his Sustainer:



KUL-LUN - AA-MANA-BIL-LAAHIKUL-LUN - AA-MANA-BIL-LAAHI

WA-MALAA-IKA-TIHI, WA-KUTU-BIHI, WAR-RUSULIHIWA-MALAA-IKA-TIHI, WA-KUTU-BIHI, WAR-RUSULIHI

theythey all believe in Allah, and in His angels, and in His revelations, all believe in Allah, and in His angels, and in His revelations,

and His messengers,and His messengers,



LAA-NUFAR-RIQU BAY-NA AHA-DIM-MIR-RUSU-LIH,

WA-QAA-LUU- SAMI’-NAA -WA –A-TwA’- NAA

GHUF-RAA-NAKA ROB-BA-NAA

WA- ILAY-KAL –MA-SwEER

making no distinction between any of His messengers, and they say:

‘We have heard, and we obey. Grant us Thy forgiveness, O our

Sustainer! For to Thee is all Journey’s end!



LAA-YUKAL-LI-FULLAA-HU NAF-SAN- IL-LAA- WUS- ‘A-HAALAA-YUKAL-LI-FULLAA-HU NAF-SAN- IL-LAA- WUS- ‘A-HAA

LA-HAA - MAA - KA-SABAT- WA-‘ALAY-HAA- MAK-TA-SA-BATLA-HAA - MAA - KA-SABAT- WA-‘ALAY-HAA- MAK-TA-SA-BAT

Allah does not burden any human being with more than he is well Allah does not burden any human being with more than he is well

able to bear: in his favour shall be whatever able to bear: in his favour shall be whatever good he does, and good he does, and

against him whatever evil he doesagainst him whatever evil he does

O our Sustainer! Take us not to task if we forget or

unwittingly do wrong!



ROB-BANAA-WALAA-TAH-MIL- ‘ALAY-NAA Isw-RANk-KA-MAA

HA-MAL-TAHU – ‘ALAL-LA-DzEE-NA- MINQ-QAB-LINAA

O our Sustainer! Lay not upon us a burden such as Thou did lay

upon those who lived before us!



ROB-BANAA WA-LAA TU-HAM-MIL-NAA

MAA-LAA-TwAA-QO-TALA-NAA-BIH

WA’-FU - AN-NAA WAGH-FIR-LA-NAA

WAR-HAM-NAA, AN-TA MAW-LAA-NAA

and that You treat us, O our Lord, in the manner

You treat the people of Goodness.



WA-AN-TAH-FA-ZO-NAA FEE-AD-YAA-NI-NAA WA AM-FU-SI-NAA WA-

AU-LAA-DI-NAA WA-ASw-HAA-BINAA WA-AH-BAA-BINAA - MIN KUL-LI

MIH-NATIN WA-FIT-NATIN WA- BU’-SIN WA –DwO-IYR,

And Protect (and preserve) our religions (our practices and

adherence of the religion of Islam) and our selves (lives) and our

children, our friends (companions), our loved ones, - from every

calamities, every calumnies, every tribulations and every harm.
