Staying at home all day, all week, all month is the new normal. It’s worse for those who are stuck in small spaces, small apartments, no place to play nowhere to go, no friends to meet. Here is where I tell you, it’s for the safety of not only yourself but also for your loved ones. This disease which is all around us does not see rich/poor, young/old. It strikes everyone but the young (you) and the elderly (grandparents) are more susceptible to this disease. I realize, initially you must have loved it with your whole family around you all the time but then you started missing your friends, felt the desire to go to restaurants, buy new clothes, visit the mall and go for holidays out of town, but now is when we have to be more so careful. The disease is again spreading manifold because we are becoming careless, frustrated and just want to get out of our houses now. Many cities are again contemplating a lockdown. Now is the time to be even more careful and benefit from the family around you. I am sure your parents are doing their best to keep you entertained and occupied. Learn new things online, practice dancing, music, drawing painting, board games, read as many books as possible. We are all very scared but at times we get angry instead. Please try to understand when your parents say no for something, it is not only for your benefit but at this moment for everyone you come in contact with, your family members, the staff working at home, probably the few friends you play with. This is such a paradox that you don’t only harm yourself, you harm others too. I know all this is easier said than done but we all have no other alternative. In order to stay healthy and keep others healthy we have to stay safe. I understand, with the passing of each day our frustration, anger, stress and loneliness is increasing but there is definitely a light at the end of the tunnel. This will end. A vaccine will be made and soon everything will be back to normal. Very soon you all will come back to us and we will be able to embrace you with our arms open. A small request to all you children from me personally, do not make any demands of your parents for outing, visit to restaurants or holidays out of town. Please listen to your parents, stay safe and keep others safe. Remember, I’m only a phone call away. “You are not stuck at home, you are safe at home. One word can change your attitude, and one cough can change your life”. Ms. Chitwan Singh

Dear Children Today I am writing directly to you. Those too young to read, I’ll request the parents to read this to them. I know that now it’s been nearly nine months, over 200 days that your normal routine was stripped away, without any warning.

Fit Body Fit Mind

A healthy body leads to a healthy mind. We should regularly exercise and meditate. Exercise makes us strong, fit and healthy. Meditation helps us to improve focus which helps us to study well. We should also eat healthy food which are rich in protein such as eggs, cheese, cottage cheese, fish and chicken along with lots of green vegetables, fruits and plenty of water. This will keep our body and mind healthy.

Hey lord !

Hey lord, Whenever we get stressed, we say “Oh my God!” We are daily praying, And give you offering. Whenever we are in trouble, You make our strength double. For all of us you have mercy, Even if we are too fancy. You are the nature’s creator, Believing in you makes my life better. Dussehra Every year with my family I go to celebrate Dussehra festival and see the Ravan. On this day my cousin also comes at our home. My mother and grandmother cook some delicious food too. But this year 2020, due to Corona virus, we could not go outside to celebrate Dussehra festival nor could we see Ravan Dahan, but I hope next year we will definitely go to see and celebrate Dussehra. The Tooth Fairy When I was six years old, my first tooth fell, my mother kept it under my pillow and said that the next morning the Tooth Fairy will come and would give you one coin in return of your tooth. Then, many of my teeth broke and every time I got a coin in return. One day my cousin told me that there is no Tooth Fairy, the coin that I used to get were given to me by my mother. I knew the truth, but I did not tell this to my mother, because she is not less than any fairy for me.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni

Mahendra Singh Dhoni is a former Indian International cricketer, who captained the Indian team from 2007 to 2016. What do I learn watching Chhota Bheem?

I like watching cartoons in my free time. CHHOTA BHEEM is my favourite cartoon in hindi. All stories are full of adventures and FUN filled. Every time I watch it, I learn something from them.

Bheem and his friends teache me to be kind and generous & always ready to help people.

They teach me to be brave and strong and at the same time be calm and have patience, use my brain power and come up with new ideas or plan to solve the problem.

They teach me to be cheerful and happy and enjoy everything in life.

My dream of a Unicorn

My dream is to meet a unicorn, Who flies above the clouds? Made from the rarest of pearls, Star glistening on its hair.

It has a magical horn, With the pearl like skin, pure white.

I wish this dream comes true, But when I woke up it the morning. I got a soft teddy. My daddy purchased it for me, It is pink in colour with a rainbow mane,

It’s not a unicorn, but I still like it.

Studies are important

Studying is boring, No child likes it; But it is important!

“Why is it important?“, I ask my mom. Mom replies, “For knowledge and more!” So I ask her, “What will I become if I study?” Mom says, “ You can become anything, if you study, But if you don’t study, you can’t become anything.” And then I understood and I said, “Thank you mom.”

I like to study, as now i know, it would fulfill my dreams of becoming a pilot and fly really high above the mountains and streams.

Snowfall

It was a Sunday morning that seemed to be lazy, And there lived a boy named Ben who was totally crazy. He had a brother whose name was Peter, who was energetic, He aspired to become very athletic. They were playing with their parents indoors, But when they saw that snowfall had started, they went outdoors. They went near a lake and made a snowman There, the kids also met a fisherman. The snow was sparkling white, The sky seemed all to be blue and white, Coerced with clouds, the snow was piling up high, So that they could slip and slide by. It was a memorable snowy Sunday for both Peter and Ben, They would never forget this beautiful day even when they grow up to be big men.
