the busiest along major shipping routes.

Singapore is a multi-racial society with a population of five

million people, where locals from diverse backgrounds and

cultures live harmoniously together. There are four major

races – namely the Chinese (majority), Malay, Indian and

English is the main language for business and instruction with

the major ethnicities having each their own mother tongue.

Singapore’s cityscape contains much for visitors to discover

beyond its history, culture, people, shopping and food. To us,

this is how we complete a life more Raffles.

possibilities known for being a beautiful garden city. From a

small, humble fishing village, Singapore has transformed into

a vibrant city of modern skyscrapers and cosmopolitan living

of superlative standards. Similarly, Raffles has blossomed into

a global concern promising a life of learning that few others

can match.

Melding the best of East and West, Singapore boasts a

unique blend of history and culture evident in the arts,

architecture and food.

world, Singapore’s commitment to free trade and her well-

educated, highly efficient workforce have made the country a

force in the world economy. Her strategic location in this part

Improvement is an unending journey.

Success is seen in the fruits we help our

students bear. In seeking recognition and

certification from all quarters, what shines

through must be true blue Raffles quality that

we stand by.

Raffles College of Higher Education

(RCHE) continues to strive for excellence

in delivering high-quality education and

providing an enriching learning experience

for our students. Testimony to this is the

accreditation we have received, Singapore

Quality Class for Private Education

Organisations (SQC-PEO).

SINGAPORE QUALITY CLASS FOR PRIVATE EDUCATION

This certification is aligned to the national business excellence

frameworks adopted for the US Malcolm Baldrige National

and Australian Business Excellence Award.

We have met the set of mandatory requirements outlined

by the authorities, including ensuring our education courses

are registered and accredited with the appropriate bodies,

Learning atthe Speed of RafflesIn design, ideas matter. In business, the speed in which

ideas are formed and connected counts. At Raffles, we help

you achieve ideas and speed with a sense of urgency hardly

evidenced elsewhere.

The programmes of Raffles College of Higher Education

(RCHE) are designed to incubate creative professionals and

entrepreneurs, real fast. They offer students expeditious

pathways towards undergraduate degrees in the design,

business, psychology, biomedical sciences and infocomm

security disciplines within three years after their high-school

education, and direct entry into one-year post-graduate courses

thereafter.

Taught by an international academic team, students are

equipped with industry-relevant knowledge and the ability to

interact with people of diverse nationalities so as to achieve

career maturity at a faster rate.

RCHE offers four intakes every year: in January, April, July

and October. Students are given the flexibility to commence

their studies at a time convenient to them, while graduates

can choose to enter the labour force at any one of the four

windows in a given year. This only enables our graduates to

maximise their employment prospects, but also allows them to

better serve the ongoing human resource needs of respective

industries.

One academic year consists of four terms with 12 study weeks

each, and a one-week holiday between terms.

To us, this is learning at the speed of Raffles.

WHAT OUR STUDENT SAYS

Every week was exciting throughout my three years in the bachelor degree programme in Raffles Design Institute. We were given an experimental ground to create our own movies, advertisements and games. The lecturers always encouraged us to take that one more step beyond our boundary and we managed to step out of our comfort zone. Thanks to them, we were able to attain a high standard of professionalism and always remind ourselves to have fun and enjoy our work.
