Our garden is the synthesis of a journey of hope across the Mediterranean. A path that goes from the south, warm and charming, wild and cruel; to the

north, rich and peaceful, stable and attractive.

A journey that brings together the desires, emotions andexpectations arising from the change. The garden then becomes the

symbolism of trafficking who regularly sees thousands of people fleeing from harsh reality looking for a place where to find peace.

The visitor entered into a dry and sandy environment, which recreates abarren and inhospitable environment, populated by low plants and shaves, and then it gradually reach an flourished green environment, cool and lush.

At the center of the garden two installations aim at representing this long and painful journey: a boat about to sink, but still afloat and with the bow

facing target, with which visitors can interact; and a door that is the hope of a new life, from which come out choking slight jets of water, representing

the human purification.
