It is due to the growing recognition that regional anaesthetic techniques reduce the incidence of chronic post-surgical pain and aggressive dynamic regional analgesia has shown to improve functional outcome in Orthopedic surgeries. Introduction of the ultrasound in regional anaesthesia practice not only enables the clinician to deposit the drug in the right place but also redefines the right place itself. An apt example would be deposition of LA in Sub-paraneural compartment around the sciatic nerve. US guidance have improved the success rate, reduced the complications and provided faster and long lasting nerve blocks. Truly, the art of regional anaesthesia is evolving into an exciting science. In this context we aim to bring the regional anaesthesia experts from all over the Asian countries together to teach and share their experiences with you. We invite you all to this academic feast. 2014 R A ASIA 2014 INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE LAST DATE FOR REGISTRATION: 31 DEC 2013 - LIMITED TO 400 DELEGATES http://raasia.org [email protected] REGISTER ONLINE at http://RAASIA.ORG From the Organising Desk I R D C EP M A G R M TM & E R N E T M S P O JI F E, A R N A A C ES L TH CA ES RITI IOLOGY & C SivashanmugamT Org.
