    The Engl.and bouni Indian Cricketers received the ssings of "owa:tar" Maher Baba at a special function at the latter ' s temporar,r r esidence heretoday .

    Meher Baba who had stopped receiving people since sterday , made a special concession for the cricketers because of his great love for the game. He warmly' embraced each player and wished hi.a success .

    In a written statement presented to each player along with a book on his life , Meher Baba asked the cricketer to convey to the English people the spiritual lesson ot concetration am love. 11 Play as eleven men with one heart each enjoying the excellence ot another player as he wonld in himself' 11 was his advise to the cricketers . Later Meher Baba joined the playe rs for a group photograph , Skipper Dattaji Gaekwad., who bad gone to Baroda to see his ailing wife Muddiah,. ot the Serviceir, were the only two players who were not present ait the function.
