Hannah Hose Kornfeld 17 years-old, is excited to be working for her first time at Mo'olelo.
Hannah's San Diego credits include Little Red (Jnto the Woods) at New Village AI1s (San Diego
Critics Circle Nomination Outstanding Featured Performance in a Musical), Annie (Annic> at
Starlight Theater, Dorothy (TI1c Wizard of Oz) at Coronado Playhouse (Aubrey Award Winner
Best Lead Actress in a Musical), and Teen Who (How the Grinch Stole Christmas) at The Old
Globe. Hannah lived in the San Francisco B~!y Area until 2008 where she worked at many
wonderful theaters including A.e.T., Curran Theater, and Marin Shakespeare and in sOl11egreat roles including Alice
(Alice in Wonderland), Young.Joan (Far Away), Gloria (Wait until Dark) and Mary Lennox (The Secret Garden>.

Cassie Benavidez has been in over 60 1110tionpicture and television projects. Her TV credits
include such hit shows as "The Shield," "Veronica Mars," and "Lincoln Heights". She has
appeared in pilots by directors Guy Hitchie (Sony Pictures), Adam Shankman (Disney), Adam
Bernstein (CBS/Paramount), and producer Bany Schindel, to name a few, and in such inde
pendent feature films as "Clipping Adam" starring Academy Award winner Louise Fletcher,
and "The Exorcist Chronicles". She was also seen in the award-winning short film "Begleiter,"
directed by Dan Margules, with whom she Co-\vrote the feature-length screenplay "The Fifth Direction"," a psycho
logical thriller that explores the mystical world of curanderisl11o. Cassie attended San Diego State {Jniversity where
she earned her B.A. Degree in Latin American Studies.

Quiara Alegria Hudes wrote the book for the Broadway hit In the Heights. In 2008,
In the Heights received the Tony Award for Best Musical and was a Pulitzer Prize Fi
nalist. OIl-Broadway, In the Heights won the Lucille LOt1el and Outer Critics Circle
Awards for Best Musical. Quiara is currently completing The Elliot Trilogy, including
the dramas Elliot, 11 Soldier:r Fugue (Pulitzer Finalist), \\7ater By the SpoOl?fitf (openingat Hartford Stage Company this fall), and nil' '-{appieJI SOI~~ P/C!)'J {,(/J/. Other works
include the plays 26 Miles and Yemaya:r Belly; the children's musical Barrio Grrrl! which premiered at the
Kennedy Center for tbe Performing Arts; and a children's hook Welcome To My Neighborhood!, puhlished
by Scholastic. Quiara recently received a United States Artists FontanaJs Fellowship and a Resolution
from tbe City of Philadelphia, her hometown. Sbe is a resident playwright at New Dramatists in New
York. Previously she was a ,Joyce Fellow at tbe Goodman Theatre, the Aetna New Voices Fellow at
Hartford Stage, a two-time fellow at the Sundance Thelter Institute, and a resident playwright at the
O'Neill The<lter Center. Quiara is on the hO<lrd of Philadelphb Young Playwrights, which produced
her first play in the tenth grade. She lives in New York with her husband and daughter. Her plays arepublished hy Dramatists Play Service.

Raul Cardona returns to San Diego peeing his pants in excitement to be on stage with
Mo 'olelo Performing Arts Company ;11The 10th Avenue Theatre after closing his Los Angeles
directorial debut with the second annual site specific traveling show Meet Me @Mctro for
Watts Village Theatre Company! Theatre credits include work with San Diego Repertory
Theatre, Teatro Mascara Magica, EI Teatro Campesino, La Jolla Playhouse, Four Brown Hats
Ente11ainment, Los Angeles Theatre Center amongst others. Currently lvlr. Cardona completed
collaboration·on staging a student written performance with a fine team of teaching artists from The Unusual Suspects
and youth from Fremont High School in South Los Angeles and is organizing an after school theatre program with
Animo Watts Charter High School that will perform Josefina Lopez, Simply Maria or The American Dream next year.

Jacob Bruce (Aaron and others) graduated from the University of Illinois with a BFA in acting.
He appeared in plays around the city of Chicago including Orlando in "As You Like It", Jed
Rowan in "The Kentucky Cycle", and The Creature in "Playing With Fire". He then moved to
Los Angeles and landed recurring roles on the shows "Crossing Jordan" and "]{oswell", and
episodes of shows including "ER", "Las Vegas", "Standoff" and "American Dreams". Jacob was
also in the award-winning films "Donut Run" and "Night of the Dog", the Hallmark MOW
"Prairie Fever", and the horror feature "The Rig". As a member of the Knightsbridge Theatre in Los Angeles, Jacob
played Randle P. McMurphy in "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest", a "Critic's Pick" in Backstage West and co-created
"The $5 Only Tmprov Show". He was has been seen here in San Diego in "Yellow Face" with the Mo'olelo Performing
Arts Company and in several staged readings of new works with Native Voices Theater and the "Straight From The
Page" program at the La .Jolla .ICe.

Seema is the Co-Pounder and Executive AI1istic Director of Mo 'olelo. Directing credits include: Since
Africa at The Old Globe and Mo'olelo (Patte Award Outstanding Ensemble); Yellow Face, Good Boys, Per
manent Collection, and The Adoption Project: Triad at Mo'olelo. Acting credits include: The Intelligent Design
offenny Chow at Yale ReI' and The Old Glohe (Patte Award and Craig Noel Award for acting); Rashomon
at North Coast l{ep; A Christmas Carol at San Diego Ikp; and A Chorus Line at Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre
among others. She is a three-time recipient of the Chicago's Jeff Award for her performances in The
Crime oftlH Century, 11 Piece oIMy Heart (Circle Theatre), and The -waiting Room (Stage Left Theatre). Playwriting credits include: remaim (McDonald Playwriting Award); commission from Mixed Blood Theatre
in Minneapolis to co-write Messy Utopia (Ivey Award) and Hijab Tube, a play for young audiences on the
theme of Islam in America. Seema developed Mo'olelo's greening initiative, consensus organizing
methodologies, and led the Company through its selection as the Inaugural Resident Theatre Company
at La Jolla Playhouse for the 2008-2009 season. She served as At1ist in Iksidence at University of Cali
fornia San Diego's Thurgood Marshall College for 2008-2009 and taught Theatre & Society at University
of San Diego in 2009. She holds an l'vIA in International Iklations from the University of Chicago, is amember of Actors' Equity Association, and received the 2010 Des McAnull New Vision Award from
The San Diego Theatre Critics Circle.

Jeannie is thrilled to be a patt of 26Miles. She has an MFA in Costume Design and won the Patte award
for her design of Twist at Diversionary. Her credils include productions fc)r the San Diego Hepertory,
Moxie, Ion, The Asian American Repertory, The GUlhrie Lab, l'vIixed Blood Theatre, and Shakespeare
in the Park to name a few. In addition to freelance designing, she has taught at SDSU and Palomar
College. She is currenlly working as the costume shop manager and assistant professor at USD and as
