The pie chart above shows how often people read magazines. As seen above, 40% who are the Majority only read magazines if they are free. This could be a threat to my magazine in the market and for companies that will publish my magazine. This helped me find out on what other things to do in order to get people to read my magazine without giving it for free. For example by including some freebies inside and competitions.

From the chart above, 50% of people recommended that a hip hop magazine such as mine should be circulated fortnightly. I am putting this into consideration but for now my magazine will be circulated monthly because it is a new magazine and this is its first ever issue.

As seen from the chart above, majority of people look for freebies when purchasing a magazine. Again as I said, these are the things that I could include in my magazine in other to encourage people and my target audience to purchase the magazine. Also, 20% of people look for up and coming artist so I will include new artist that just got signed into the music industry in magazine. 10% check for free posters and another 10% check for reviews. I am putting all these factors into consideration whilst producing my magazine pages.

From the chart below, it is shown that 80% of people spend £5 or less on music and music magazines whilst the rest of the 20% do not read magazines. This is could be a very big problem as the my music magazine might not do well in the market. However I will be putting a price on my magazine from £1.99 - £2.99 at affordable prices and also make sure that my magazine is very eye catching and stands out in the shelves.

It shows that i have a very big target audience and also with evidence, most of this people styles are influenced by Hip-hop.
