Strengths and weaknesses of the camera equipment

strengths

One of the strengths of the camera equipment was the ability to shoot in HD which is always better than normal cameras which don’t do this

another strength about the cameras were how easy they were to use, just open and press a button

weaknesses

a very strong weakness is the sound quality on the cameras and lack of ports to take a real microphone to record onto the camera with so sound wouldn’t have to be recorded separately or synched up later.

alk about the filming process, are there any problems you faced, how did you resolve these issues?

The filming process was easy and only had to grab a camera and only press one button, it was much harder to find actors or the weather being fit for filming.

Did you get to use new equipment to enhance your film? For example the TV

studio, track and jib etc.I personally did not take advantage of some of the

equipment that was there for me as I didn’t think it would fit my film though a track was offered to help record

Editing software – what have you learnt about editing, were there particular effects that you found useful for

creating your overall mise en scene?

I actually found the editing process fairly easy and I did use one effect all through my film and it was to make each shot darker as it looked too bright and happy for what I had planned to happen

Garageband – was it a useful programme for creating your soundtrack? What challenges did you face during

this process?

I did not take advantage of garage band instead I found some loyalty free music which I was allowed to put into my work as I could not use garage band like other Digital Audio Workstations that I am familiar with
