We attach for your information our assessment of depreciation and building write off allowance for the above project based upon the Diminishing Value Method.

These initial estimates of depreciation have been prepared for the sole purpose of depreciation claims and are not to be used for any other purpose.

We have based our assessment upon the information as provided, together with the drawings and our estimate of various components of the construction costs.

These marketing sheets cannot be used for a depreciation claim in the present format. The final report may vary depending upon the settlement date of the property.

The final report may vary due to future changes in the relevant taxation legislation and rulings.

This valuation is confidential to the owners of the premises, the future owners and the essential parties dealing with the claim.

This report reflects the pooling of assets costing less than $1000.00.

The amount in Year 1, based upon the diminishing value method, is less than the amount in Year 2 as the low asset pool is calculated at 18.75% for the first year regardless of the settlement date of the property.

The opening value of the pool is then calculated on a diminishing value method of 37.5% per annum.

We have not placed any assets into a pool for the prime cost method; your clients can advise this office if they wish to do so.
