The Life Cycle of Containment at QISCS…

Intake-The scope of the project is articulated and fully documented. Project Setup-A Quality Service Representative (QSR) will beassigned to work with you to develop a specific and unique projectfrom start to finish. Authorization Forms-You will receive the forms to confirm projectspecifications, initial your approval and return before project begins. Execution- QSR’s will execute the project according to the approvedprocess. Billing and Invoicing- The project will be billed based on precisecheckpoints and inspections. Invoicing will occur on a weekly or bi-weekly basis until the project is complete. Customer Satisfaction-To guarantee your expectations are beingmet, we track each client’s level of satisfaction, using the feedbackgathered to enhance our service.

Sorting, Containment, and Part InspectionQISCS provides a wide range of Sorting, Containment, and Inspection Solutions, which includes product IDand labeling throughout the entire containment process. We offer services at our warehouse or one of ourTeams can be deployed to your plant or to your customer's plant where work can be preformed onsite.

ReworkOften a nonconforming part can be corrected by rework. It is often too expensive to bring these partsback into your plant and unnecessary unless the rework operations require special tools or machinerylocated only in your plant.

Light RepairsSometimes your product needs extra assembly before being shipped to your customer. We can assist you indeveloping Operator Instructions, obtaining necessary equipment & providing experienced operators andtechnicians to perform the assembly work.

Trained Engineers and TechniciansWith our trained Engineers and Technical Specialist on staff or contracted, QISCS has the QualityEngineering support you need to get your manufacturing systems out of quality containment quicklyand efficiently, assisting you in regaining control of your parts quality and processes.

Root AnalysisYour customers have established Quality Procedures that you must follow to be allowed to exit containment.This is always your goal and at QISCS and it is our goal to assist you in exiting containment as quickly andefficiently as possible.

Protection- QSR’s verifies that each employee is properly protectedon the job by providing the necessary PPE, and through detailed andongoing safety training. Processes- QSR’s verifies that each job is set up and implementedcorrectly based on the initial project scope. People- QSR’s verifies that each employee is following properprotocol, policies and procedures with detailed training, instruction,that includes product and process auditing. Parts- QSR’s verifies that each part is properly certified to the exactspecifications of each customer. Paperwork- QSR’s audits all paperwork associated with the projectto make sure it is accurate and complete.

Set-up at Site:• Verify authorization with SQE/ Quality Manager.

• Assemble team with appropriate skill sets, tools, andchemistry.

• Create project book.

• Take over project and train team in most efficientquality methods.

• Ensure project work instructions are received andcustomer approved.

• Reduce risk through robust work instruction, training,and demonstrated compentency.

On-Site Inspection, Containment, Repairs and Reworks

Containment:• Set up work flow in order to separate defective vs.

certified inventory. Ensure product ID is establishedand maintained throughout project.

• Create digital pictures as a back up to boundarysamples.

• Audit first part inspection and according to samplingplan.

• Evaluate proper witness marking.• Spot check process to maintain containment integrity.• Maintain documentation.• Open customer/supplier communication throughout

process.

Repair / Rework:• Determine repair / rework method.

• Provide necessary tools for project.

• Create work instruction for site specific.

• Select associates based on skill sets.

• First part review with boundary samples.

Billing and Invoicing:• User friendly data and information system

• Weekly and/or Bi-weekly Reports

• Rates are based on inspection, repairs, rework,supervision and administrative needs

• Time sheets collected and submitted daily uponapproval of customer.

• First call will invoice supplier directly per agreed termsand pricing agreements.

• Invoice will reflect name of inspector and appropriatebill rate.

• Extra charges, e.g, travel-mileage, will be documentedseparately.
