2016-2017 Is Off to a Great Start!!

ALL School Meeting & Club Rush

Welcome back to Quest ECHS!

We are thrilled to be in our new home

at 1700 Wilson Road, and we are look-

ing forward to the finishing touches

which should be complete soon. We welcomed 119 fresh-

men to our ranks this year and hosted about half of our par-

ents and students at Open House last week. This year will be

full of student events, activities, and more Parent events - a

huge benefit of having our OWN space!

I would like to encourage you to participate in these events, to

follow us on social media, and to get involved in Quest ECHS

by any means possible. We have an active PTSA who would

love to have you as a member, and your student’s Family could

use help on many occasions. You could donate your time

which is extremely valuable, or you could donate money to

our Friends of Quest Annual Fund, all of which goes directly to

our campus to buy much needed technology and equipment

our students use each day. YOU are an important member of

our Quest family, and I look forward to working with you as

we help our students achieve at the highest possible levels.

I welcome your communication and assistance as we begin the

BEST year ever at Quest ECHS!

Ginger Noyes

Principal, Quest ECHS

The first week of school brought two exciting events: an ALL school meeting and our annual Club Rush. The entire student

body of Quest ECHS was able to meet together for the first time in several years due to our for-

mer space constraints. Quest teachers performed skits about the school mission, and student government leaders were

“Knighted” as Quest Knights to lead the Knight Council. Then they were off to explore all of the clubs Quest ECHS has to

offer. There are over 15 clubs and organizations in which stu-dents can participate, and they

can even form new clubs with facilitator and administrative approval. A great, activity-filled

year awaits us in our new space!!

The Quest ECHS Student

Council has formally adopted

the name of the Knight

Council. Elections for

sophomores, juniors, seniors,

and student body officers

were held at the conclusion

of last school year. Freshmen

held their elections a few

weeks into the 2016-17

school year. Despite such a

short period of time

transpiring, the Knight

Council has already facilitated a successful blood drive,

organized an all-school assembly, and developed their policy

agenda for the school year. The Knight Council will work on

finding ways to foster increased school spirit, develop more

effective communication school-wide, host fundraising

activities aimed at providing students with more in-school

and after-school activities, and partnering with community

organizations. If you have any questions about the Knight

Council, please email Mr. Brett Crawford

([email protected]) or your class officers.

technology, sports equipment, fund teacher professional develop-

ment, and subsidize field trip opportunities for our students.
